Recently pulled from a shelter, he carries the weight of an unknown past, and some of that shows in his behavior. Despite his dramatic name, Michael isn’t frightening—he’s simply a sensitive dog who reacts out of fear and may snap or try to bite when he feels unsafe or overwhelmed. What Michael needs most is a calm, patient, dog-savvy home that understands fear-based behavior. He will benefit from consistent training to help him learn manners, build confidence, and improve his potty routine. A quiet environment will help him feel secure and allow him the space he needs to adjust at his own pace. Because he startles easily, a home without small children is best. With time and trust, Michael reveals a softer side. His big, expressive eyes tell you everything he can’t say, and once he feels safe, he offers gentle moments of affection that feel truly earned. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
