Thanks!*************** Wow--what an awesome little guy!! We were contacted by an animal control to take this fella in when he repeatedly had come to their facility. Apparently he was one of their frequent fliers, always being picked up as a stray. His family allowed him to roam his neighborhood, people called and he was brought in. Finally, that family decided they did not need to take him back again. Perhaps that was the best ting to happen to Yanny, he is now ready for a safe, loving and stable home. Yanny is about 3 years old. He was listed previously as an Aussie-Doodle. But, perhaps he is a Schnoodle?? Who knows, but he is adorable and quite the handsome little guy. Yanny is about 18 pounds and has the softest little grey curls, so sweet. He was a little scruffy(see his previous pic) and needed a good bath. Well, after he fell into our little fish pond that happened asap, lol. He was great with grooming and his bath, he is a little gentleman. He has been so sweet with everyone, listens well and is very snuggly. But, he was not fully potty trained upon his arrival. But, then again he had just gotten neutered. We put him in our potty training boot camp, lol, belly band and all, and I must say he is doing marvelous!! That being said, his new family will have to be on their toes and continue with that training and reinforcement of those behaviors. Yanny is a smart little dog and settled in very well to our family/foster situation. He has been great with the little dogs, and has adjusted to our XL Great Pyrenees. He was at first intimidated, but easily redirected. He will do well in a loving home with lots of time to help him settle in and continue his training, and probably older kids would be best. Hi, I`m Coltrane! I`m a little schnauzer mix who is ready to find my forever home. I`m currently in foster care, and my foster has a lot of good stuff to say about me:`Coltrane loves to play with other dogs. In fact, he seems to trust dogs more than people! He’s very cautious about getting close to people at first but eventually warms up to them. He is very gentle taking treats and food out of your hand, and he loves chewing toys like Nylabones. He probably should not live with small children because of his nervousness around people and his rough play style. He likes to chase squirrels, so should not live with cats or other small, free-roaming animals. He is housebroken, but he is still working on leash manners, play manners, and basic obedience skills. Coltrane has lots of energy and is very happy dog when he finally learns to trust you!` I sound like a pretty great pup! I do need to live with another dog, because I get very anxious around people. Other dogs help me feel more comfortable so that I can be brave. I`m only 1.5 years old, so my new dog friend should be playful, or else they might find me pretty annoying! I`d make a great playmate for a young adult who is energetic and confident! I`d also love to live in a house with a secure, fenced-in yard. I have a history as an escape artist, so I will still need to be supervised whenever I have my backyard time. I`d love to do more training with my new family so that I can bond with them more quickly! Rocky Road is a fun-loving, one-year-old pup. He is a great cuddler and gets along well with the other dogs in the house—though at times he does like to let everyone know he’d prefer to be the boss. When meeting new people, Rocky may surprise you with his loud and enthusiastic behavior, but after a few minutes and some pets, he’s absolutely thrilled to be with you. This sweet boy is close to—but not yet 100%—housebroken. Rocky Road does have some separation anxiety and isn’t a big fan of spending time in a crate, although it is impoving. Due to this separation anxiety Rocky Road needs to be living in a single family home. This sweet, adorable pup is looking for a loving home where he could snuggle up and get some love! Winston has megaesophagus (an enlarged esophagus) which causes him to vomit or regurgitate food or water if he does not eat or drink upright in a specially made Bailey Chair. There are no surgical options available. Winston recently got aspiration pneumonia after a dental and neuter. He needs his water mixed with a thickener so he can swallow without throwing up. He gets Viagra (Sildenafil) an hour before he eats to help the food get past his esophagus & sphincter to his stomach. He also needs his teeth brushed daily since he's susceptible to aspiration pneumonia. We rescued him from a shelter right before he was going to be euthanized. At just 7 years old, Winston deserves the best care possible, and we’re doing everything we can to support him. Marci is a sweet 10 year old girl (DOB 2/5/15) that came to us as a surrender. She is spayed, UTD with shots, is potty trained, leash trained and is microchipped. She would be great with an older stay at home or work from home person who would love and adore on her all day. She is terrified of children, so an adult only household is a must. Although she is cute as a button, she is very cautious when meeting new people, shows some alpha tendencies and is a great watchdog. Marci is doing well on working through some past trauma but is still terrified of loud noises/lightening/fireworks. A stand alone home would be best for her as she can be quite talkative. She is looking for a very patient and quiet home where she can be herself. Molly is a sweet and friendly 11 year old schnauzer mix who is looking for her next home! If you have kids or other dogs, this girl will get along great with them. She is also house-trained and good on a leash. She currently weights 28 lbs and is working on losing some weight. Molly came to us after her previous owner surrendered her to animal control. Molly is up to date on shots, spayed, de-wormed, micro-chipped, and just had a dental. She did have a mammary tumor removed which was found to be low grade cancer, and the vet advises to keep an eye on the area in the future.
