Buddy is sweet and adorable and looking for a special forever home!
Buddy came to us from a local shelter after he was found as a stray and not reclaimed. He is a very affectionate boy who loves people and going on walks. His ideal home would be quiet with someone home most of the time, and experienced schnauzer lover, and if there is another dog, one that is friendly and submissive. He does great with female dogs and submissive males.
Buddy would do best in a home with a fenced yard and with no children since too much activity scares him. He is housebroken. He does not do well being handled by a groomer or vet, so we would not consider him to be a candidate to be a lap dog. But if you're looking for an affectionate companion, Buddy is available! He is about 5 years old, neutered, had a dental, up to date on shots, micro-chipped, heart-worm and fecal tested negative. He weighs about 12 lbs. He has NOT been cat tested, but he does not seem to have any prey drive. He is being fostered in the Chicago area.
