MEET ASHER!
Asher is a 4-month-old Miniature Schnauzer mix (our best guess) with a heart as big as his adorable puppy eyes. This sweet and loving little guy is soaking up the world around him and is ready to find a forever family to grow up with.
Like any young puppy, Asher is a work in progress. He’s currently learning his house manners and will need a patient and consistent home to help guide him as he continues his training. He’s not quite leash-savvy yet, but with time, practice, and positive reinforcement, he’ll be strutting his stuff in no time.
Asher has done well with other dogs who are tolerant of typical puppy antics and playful energy. He’s even met a cat and didn’t seem to mind at all! Because of his age and enthusiasm, he would likely do best with dog-savvy children who understand how to interact appropriately with a young, energetic pup.
This boy is looking for an active family who is ready to commit to the joys (and challenges!) of raising a puppy—continued house training, socialization, and lots of love included. In return, Asher promises a lifetime of companionship, laughter, and unconditional love.

Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program.
FUREVER TAILS IS A NON-PROFIT, NO-KILL, FOSTER HOME BASED ANIMAL RESCUE BASED OUT OF OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, MI. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS.
