MEET ZURI:
Hi there! My name is Zuri, and I am a 1-year-old miniature Schnauzer mixed with Poodle, also known as a Schnoodle. My journey hasn't been the easiest, but I am ready to find my forever home.
I was found as a stray and ended up in an overcrowded shelter. Thankfully, Furever Tails Animal Rescue saw that I wasn't thriving in that environment and took me in. Now, I'm getting the chance to start a new chapter in my life, filled with love and understanding.
I must admit, I am a bit timid and nervous when it comes to new people and new things. You see, I haven't had the opportunity to be properly socialized, but I'm working on it every day. It might take me some time to warm up to you, but once I do, I promise to be the most loyal companion you've ever had.
I get along well with dogs my size and even cats! However, I would do best in a home with a fenced yard or where I can go for leash walks. Loud noises tend to frighten me, so the safety of a fenced yard or a controlled walking environment would be ideal. Tethering is not acceptable for me as I get easily scared.
A quieter environment would suit me best, as it helps me feel more secure and comfortable. I am slowly learning to overcome my insecurities, but I still need someone with patience and understanding to help me navigate the world and show me that it's not as scary as I think.
If you're looking for a special companion who will bring endless love and loyalty to your life, I believe I could be the perfect fit. I just need someone who will give me the time and care I need to continue my journey of growth and confidence. Will you be the one to give me my forever home?

OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. OUR PRIMARY ADOPTION AREA IS WITHIN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN.
