Buster is an 11 pound Mini Scnauzer who is 6 years old. He is a dog that came from a breeder with his sister. They had little socialization prior to rescue. Some dogs can take a long time to recover but Buster is ready to take on the world in his own way. He loves exploring the fenced yard, crawling in and over his foster mom's lap AND he has even discovered toys. If you meet Buster, you'll LOVE him. He absolutely must be adopted with his sister Sarah. They go together like peas and carrots. This pair require a fenced yard as they do not understand leashes but live to go out and smell all the smells! To meet them, apply at emotionalrescuedogs.org. ##1983946##

Good With Dogs: Yes Good With Cats: Unknown Good With Kids: Unknown Kennel Trained: Yes DOB: 4.16.18 Adoption Fee: $ 500 Fee Includes: Current vaccinations, micro chip If you want to be considered for adoption, apply using the Adoption Form button below.     Sarah is a Mini Schnauzer, born 4.16.2018. She is Bonded to her brother, Buster, and they MUST be adopted together. Sarah weighs about 9 pounds and is from a breeder where she had very little socialization. Despite that, she loves pets and will crawl into your lap if given the chance. She starts off a little shy but gains confidence from her brother. Together, they romp and play, approaching their foster mom through it all for a little live. Sarah has not yet discovered the purpose of toys but she's getting close! This bonded pair will be sure to bring joy and laughter to the life of their adopter. Watching them learn how wonderful life can be outside of a cage is a gift you'll enjoy every day. Both dogs are sweet and gentle. They'll need a fenced yard as they do not understand leashes but love to go out and smell all the smells. Story
Meet Cotton! He’s a sweet, snuggly boy who’s doing great at the rescue! He was found stray and we pulled him from a kill shelter. He’s great with other dogs and all people. He’s a scruffy little terrier mix, about 1 year old and 15 pounds. He’s a really good little guy who just loves attention.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.May 1, 2024, 6:30 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  DOB:  04/01/2019 Requires another dog in home: No Okay with dogs of all sizes: Yes Okay with cats: Unknown Okay with children under 12 years old: Has not met, but should be good! Weight: 25.2 lbs Food Fed: Solid Gold Requires a fenced yard:  No Note: dogs must always be leashed whenever outside of a contained area. Invisible/ underground fencing is not recommended for most rescue dogs. Hi I'm Coke!  I'm a sweet scruffy girl who is just cute as can be!  I'm a calm girl who is usually pretty quiet.  I'm a bit shy with people, but I love other dogs that are nice to me and enjoy running and playing with them outside.  I wag my tail at my foster mama and I do like when she pets me.  She holds me in her arms and I sit there looking around and relax into her arms and I'll give her a gentle kiss to show her I love her.  I enjoy chewing on bones.  I'm kennel trained and working on leash and potty training.  My personality is coming out more each day and I'm hoping you will join me on my journey to being the best girl I can be and that I can be your little girl forever! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders.  Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a  particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit.  Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.     ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. Invisible/ underground fencing is not recommended for most rescue dogs. HI I’m Molly!  I’m an adorable tiny little girl who is just as happy as can be!  I have the cutest smile and when I’m really happy my whole body wiggles like crazy.  If I don’t have the body wiggles then I have the cutest nub wag to show you I want to be friends.  I’m a little nervous with people.  I want so bad to be your friend, but I will stay just a tad out of reach.  I get up my courage though if you bend down to me and I give happy little kisses to your hands and then dance around you til I come back for another round of kisses.   I do like pets though and will give you my belly for belly rubs.  Each day my foster mama holds me and I shake for a few minutes, but then I settle in.  I know that we are working on trust and confidence and I’m getting it pretty quickly!  I really enjoy the presence of another dog and they give me a lot of confidence so I do ask that my home has one.  I’ll be following them and you around the home because I’m curious about things.  If you work from home I make a great companion because I’m usually pretty quiet and will snuggle up with the dog in your home and nap.  I’ve discovered that tv is a pretty interesting thing too and my foster mama catches me watching it pretty often.  I’m working hard on kennel and potty training.  I’m a little too scared to walk on leash yet so I haven’t practiced it much, which I another reason I need a fenced in yard right now.  I haven’t met any kids or kitties yet.  I can say that kitties are bigger than I am so I might be just fine with them.  I think little kids might be a little too loud and overwhelming for me so older respectful kids would be a better fit.  If you have love to give and a little patience then I think we would be great together!  I promise you won’t be disappointed!
