Meet Stella! Adoption Fee: $549 Adoption Application - Copy & Paste https://forms.gle/FmtRtYxQNnemdkdw9 This gorgeous 6-year-old Schnauzer just got her glow-up 💁‍♀️✂️ and she knows she’s pretty! At 20 lbs, she’s the perfect little companion—spayed, heartworm negative, healthy, and ready for her forever home. Stella adores people (kids included!) and would do best as your one-and-only—no cats, just her and her humans ❤️ She’s house-trained and happiest right by your side. 💔 Stella spent far too much of her life confined to a crate… so we made her a promise: no more crates, ever. She deserves freedom, soft beds, and to be part of the family—not shut away. Her family trusted us to find her something better… and we will. Could that be you? 🐾 Here's the adoption application, please copy & paste. https://forms.gle/FmtRtYxQNnemdkdw9 **To see all of our pets available for adoption, please copy &paste this link. https://www.adoptapet.com/pet-search?radius=50&postalCode=02919&awos[0]=165123&filterMode=all Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Story
Meet little Buddy! He is a 10 pound, approximately 4 year old, Schnauzer mix. After his loving owner passed away, Buddy was thrown into the backyard by relatives who did not care for him properly. Fortunately, he survived the hot Arkansas summer & was relinquished to rescue.  Our little Buddy is doing great in his foster home, enjoying playtime with 3 other small dogs.  He thoroughly enjoys toys, lounging at home, & taking car rides. Buddy loves playing outside & is very inquisitive about his surroundings. A fenced-in yard is recommended to keep him safe. In his foster home, all dogs are fed seperately. However, Buddy does a great job waiting for treats when given alongside the other dogs. While Buddy does well with other small dogs, he is not a fan of cats. A feline-free home is best for this little guy. He has a history of nipping when playing with squeaky toys (if they are taken from him, he will try to keep them). Due to getting overstimulated, these toys are not recommended. Although a home without young children or grandchildren would be the ideal environment for Buddy, he would do well with adults of any age. Buddy gets along well with both men and women. This sweet little fella loves to be held & has the most playful personality! He is definitely a joy to love on. Also of note, Buddy had several teeth removed during his recent dental visit. His little tongue sticks out at times, especially while sleeping. When super relaxed, he sometimes looks like he has two little fangs! It is truly adorable to see! Buddy is crate-trained, does well with a harness, & is using the doggy door as well as potty pads in his foster home (infrequent accidents). His foster mom is available to answer any questions.  Little Buddy is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, & heartworm negative. His adoption fee for New England adopters is $500, which includes transport to New England & a health certificate from his veterinarian. His local adoption fee is $175 (no transportation or health certificate). ##2580863##

Story
This adorable duo were found in a very remote area in Arkansas. Unbelievably shy, they have gradually started coming out of their shell, and their personalities are beginning to blossom. Both are quick to smile and love the attention they are getting.  They are very affectionate and love belly rubs, squeaky toys, and chasing the other pups around the yard. Although they can be active, they also love to lay on the couch and watch television. They are not hyperactive at all. Both boys are crate trained and potty trained. They are young, so they still want to get into mischief such as chewing up socks. So before submitting an application, be aware that they are young and will need more training. Neither one has a dominant personality, they're both very low-key and get along great with other dogs and together. Both do very well while taking a bath. Benji is 2 pounds lighter than his brother Andy. They both weigh under 30 pounds and probably will not grow to be much larger. As much as we would love to see them go together as a bonnet pair, we realize that may not be possible. So we are willing to adopt them out separately. If someone would like to adopt them as a bonded pair, we will be happy to take off $150 off of the adoption fee. Currently they're being fostered on a farm in Arkansas. Transport is available to New England. Their adoption fee is $450 each, which includes the cost of transport. Andy and Benji are both heartworm negative, up-to-date on all core vaccinations, and microchipped. Both are afraid of kids and cats.  ##2559637##
