Story
Meet little Buddy! He is a 10 pound, approximately 4 year old, Schnauzer mix. After his loving owner passed away, Buddy was thrown into the backyard by relatives who did not care for him properly. Fortunately, he survived the hot Arkansas summer & was relinquished to rescue.  Our little Buddy is doing great in his foster home, enjoying playtime with 3 other small dogs.  He thoroughly enjoys toys, lounging at home, taking car rides, & playing outside. In his foster home, all dogs are fed seperately. However, Buddy does a great job waiting for treats when given alongside the other dogs. While Buddy does well with other small dogs, he is not a fan of cats. A feline-free home is best for this little guy. He has a history of nipping when playing with squeaky toys (if they are taken from him, he will try to keep them). Due to getting overstimulated, these toys are not recommended. Although a home without young children or grandchildren would be the ideal environment for Buddy, he would do well with adults of any age. Buddy gets along well with both men and women. This sweet little fella loves to be held & has the most playful personality! He is definitely a joy to love on. Also of note, Buddy had several teeth removed during his recent dental visit. His little tongue sticks out at times, especially while sleeping. When super relaxed, he sometimes looks like he has two little fangs! It is truly adorable to see! Buddy is crate-trained, does well with a harness, & although he did require the use of belly bands at first, he is now using the doggy door as well as potty pads in his foster home. His foster mom is available to answer any questions.  Little Buddy is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, & heartworm negative. His adoption fee for New England adopters is $500, which includes transport to New England & a health certificate from his veterinarian. His local adoption fee is $175 (no transportation or health certificate). ##2580863##

Story
This adorable duo were found in a very remote area in Arkansas. Unbelievably shy, they have gradually started coming out of their shell, and their personalities are beginning to blossom. Both are quick to smile and love the attention they are getting.  They are very affectionate and love belly rubs, squeaky toys, and chasing the other pups around the yard. Although they can be active, they also love to lay on the couch and watch television. They are not hyperactive at all. Both boys are crate trained and potty trained. They are young, so they still want to get into mischief such as chewing up socks. So before submitting an application, be aware that they are young and will need more training. Neither one has a dominant personality, they're both very low-key and get along great with other dogs and together. Both do very well while taking a bath. Benji is 2 pounds lighter than his brother Andy. They both weigh under 30 pounds and probably will not grow to be much larger. As much as we would love to see them go together as a bonnet pair, we realize that may not be possible. So we are willing to adopt them out separately. If someone would like to adopt them as a bonded pair, we will be happy to take off $150 off of the adoption fee. Currently they're being fostered on a farm in Arkansas. Transport is available to New England. Their adoption fee is $450 each, which includes the cost of transport. Andy and Benji are both heartworm negative, up-to-date on all core vaccinations, and microchipped. Both are afraid of kids and cats.  ##2559637##

Story
***MIST IS LOCATED AROUND CUMBERLAND, RI IN A FOSTER HOME AND IS AVAILABLE FOR A MEET AND GREET WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION*** Mist says HELLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! As he zooms all over the house and backyard. Zoomies are one of Mists many favorite things to do. This outgoing boy is full of so much personality and life. He is a little energizer bunny that plays hard, naps hard, cuddles hard, loves hard. He is approximately 15 weeks old, and weighs 10 lbs. We do not believe he will get over 15 lbs once full grown. His mom weighed only 5.0 lbs and his sister weighed 3.0 lbs. He sheds very minimally, if at all. Mist (and his sibling, mom and aunt!) came from a hoarding house on the Texas/Mexico border with 20+ dogs in it. The house would only allow us to take the 4 dogs, and unfortunately, it is legal for them to keep the other ones per Texas law. Mist is the last remaining one of the 4 that is available for adoption. Mist is currently being fostered with 2 other xlarge dogs (a great dane mix and a greater Swiss mountain dog) and he keeps up with them as you can see in the video. He LOVES playing with other dogs and ideally needs another dog in the home to match his energy level. He has met kitties and does well with them. Mist is quite active and needs to be introduced slowly to calmer cats as he can be a little much for cats that are not used to dogs. Mist is house trained! He LOVES children, and well, anyone he meets. Because of his playful, rambunctious nature, we do believe children over the age of 5-7 years old will be best as they can keep up with him and hopefully tire each other out! Mist loves sleeping in the fosters bed and has no incidents at night! He is to the point he can sleep through the whole night 😊 The foster has no wrong she can say about this happy boy. He is literally perfect. An ideal home for Mist would be one with another dog or dogs, with someone/a family that is active, loves going on adventures and wants a dog to join in with all the festivities. Mist loves being the certain of attention and will do almost anything to please his people. He is very curious, too smart for his own good and extremely loyal. If you are looking to adopt the perfect puppy, please consider adopting Mist. He is current on parvo/distemper vaccines, rabies vaccine, bordatella, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, dewormer, negative fecal results, microchipped and has a clean bill of health from a veterinarian. The adoption fee also includes the transport cost from Texas (where he came from) to the East Coast.

Story
Hi, I’m Nova, a 7-year-old Mini Schnauzer with a big heart and a happy spirit. I love long walks, playing endlessly, cuddling, and enjoying peaceful mornings with my favorite people. I’m affectionate and happy just being near you, keeping you company. I’m tolerant of calm cats and dogs, enjoying relaxing together. If you want a loving companion for fun, affection, and quiet moments, I’d love to be with you. Care Notes: Nova will do best with an adopter who understands gentle handling and routine grooming. She is sensitive when her legs and feet are handled and may react by snapping, so a patient, experienced groomer or veterinary team is recommended. Her coat mats easily, and regular brushing and maintenance will help keep her comfortable. Nova will also need a dental evaluation and may require dental work, including possible extractions. The full extent of her dental needs is currently unknown, so adopters should be prepared for future dental care. *Adoption fee is negotiable

Story
Meet Cooper! Cooper is a happy, affectionate boy who truly shines when he’s out and about with his people. He loves going for walks and would be just as content exploring a hiking trail as he would be curled up beside you for a movie marathon. When Cooper steps out of his kennel, his face lights up with the biggest, brightest smile; and we know that smile will only grow once he finds his perfect fur-ever home. Cooper was adopted and returned after struggling with anxiety around unfamiliar people. With a little patience, structure, and understanding, he shows just how loving and loyal he can be. To help set him up for success, Cooper comes with post-adoption training support to help his new family feel confident and supported every step of the way. Cooper is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. He would thrive as the only pet in an adult-only home where he can soak up all the love he deserves. In the right environment, this sweet boy is ready to be an amazing adventure buddy, couch companion, and best friend!
