Louka is a a really good boy, he’s great with people, he likes sniffing new people, he’s playful, he loves scratches. Louka is not great with other dogs. Louka is 5 years old. His Bday is June 5th, 2020. Louka loves walks and cuddles. Louka is a very sweet dog. We’re desperate to find him a new home, we can no longer have him with us, as much as we’d love to keep him it’s been very hard for us to keep up with the expenses. We love Louka so much we just want to give him a better life. He deserves more walks and attention. Breaks my heart to let him go but it’s for the best of him, we’re sure someone will love having him he’s a sweetheart.

It’s with a heavy heart that I’m looking for a new home for Ralph. Due to increasing work travel, I’m no longer able to give him the consistent time, presence, and attention he deserves, especially as he enters his senior years and needs a bit more daily care and stability. Ralph is 11 years old and truly special. He’s gentle, loyal, and full of love. He’s completely house trained and walks right by your side, whether on or off leash, always staying close and attentive. His calm, friendly nature makes him wonderful with children, and he brings warmth and comfort to everyone he meets. He’s an easygoing, affectionate companion who thrives on connection. As a senior dog, Ralph does have some medical needs. He is on seizure medication that is given three times a day, along with monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. His veterinarian has also recommended that he have a few teeth pulled in the future. Thank you for taking the time to learn about Ralph.

Story
Comet is an approximately six-year-old Maltese. A friendly dog, he is a mixture of spunky, loving, and sassy with a medium energy level. Comet gets along with all dogs, male, female, large, medium and small. He would love to have a buddy or two in his home to play with and show him the way. Weighing in at nine pounds, he is currently being fostered with two big dogs and gets along with both. Comet has mastered potty training with no accidents in the last month. He loves going for walks and is excellent on leash. He enjoys going on adventures to new places and taking car rides, too. Comet likes hanging out with his people and is a good boy with visitors coming to the house. Comet does not annoyingly bark, but he does have a little little growl he sometimes uses to tell you he wants to be pet and sometimes to tell you he doesn't want to be bothered. It should not be mistaken as something bad, rather just him being sassy. At night he sleeps quietly in his dog bed. (Sometimes he wants to come up on his foster mom's bed to sleep and she does allow it.) Unfortunately, the people who had Comet before he entered the shelter did not take very good care of him and he had severe periodontal disease. The rescue had to remove all of his teeth as a result. He eats wet food and can eat small, soft treats. Comet loves to sunbathe on warm days and romp around in the yard with his doggie friends. Toys are not a huge interest, but he will occasionally play with them. It's very cute when he gets the zoomies and runs through the house with excitement. Comet is a great little dog who really wants to please and be part of a family. Could that family be yours?
