Story
Meet Teddy (Goose) - Sweet Yorkie Looking for His Forever Home 💙🐶 Age: ~1-2 years⚖️ Weight: ~8 lbs✂️ Status: Recently neutered, microchipped, and vaccinatedTeddy's StoryTeddy spent the first part of his life living in a cage with a breeder and was badly matted and neglected until his foster mom stepped in to get him out of that situation. He has since been groomed and is now safe in her care as a foster, but he deserves a loving, permanent home of his very own.She promised him that his next home would be his forever home &#194&#151 not temporary, not 'until life gets busy,' but for his entire life.About Teddy (Nicknamed 'Goose')Teddy is very loving and people-oriented. He adores humans &#194&#151 especially adults and older gentle calmer kids &#194&#151 and wants to be near his person as much as possible.&#194&#149 Potty Training: Doing great with potty training, but please always expect a learning curve and patience with any dog in a new environment&#194&#149 😢 Separation Anxiety: Teddy does have separation anxiety. If he cannot see a human, he panics, barks, and jumps trying to get to his person. He will need a home where he isn't left alone for long stretches and where his adopter understands his needs. With time and consistency, he will continue to improve as he feels secure&#194&#149 🍽️ Food: Good eater and not very picky, currently used to wet food (The Farmer's Dog)&#194&#149 ✂️ Grooming: As a Yorkie, Teddy requires regular grooming about every 6 weeks to maintain a healthy coat⸻Ideal Home for TeddyTeddy has already been failed by humans once &#194&#151 that will not happen again if we can help it.We are looking for a home that:&#194&#149 💰 Is financially able and willing to care for him long-term, including regular grooming, routine vet care, and any unexpected needs (small-dog dentals can be costly! And neglected dental care leads to heart disease and more especially in tiny dogs)&#194&#149 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 No young children: Please no kids under 10. Teddy loves people but does best in a calm home&#194&#149 ⏰ Not constantly on the go: No families who are gone all the time for work or kids' activities. Teddy needs time, presence, and understanding&#194&#149 ❤️ Will love him unconditionally, be patient with his past, and work with him on his anxiety and occasional marking, although this should be less now that he has been neutered.&#194&#149 📸 Is willing to send occasional updates so we know he is safe, happy, and that the right decision was made for him⸻Adoption DetailsSerious inquiries only ❤️Teddy is a very special little soul who has been through a lot. He needs someone who will see him as family, not a convenience. If that sounds like you, please submit a detailed adoption application at www.k9ppr.org 💙🐾December 17, 2025, 12:19 am

Story
&#226&#156&#168 Meet Boq Wicked — 6 lbs of tiny, determined heart &#226&#156&#168 Available for Adoption through Umbrella of Hope Boq Wicked is a 9-year-old, 6-pound Maltese mix with a soft black and white coat, a gentle spirit, and a lifetime of stories behind his cloudy eyes. He may be small, but this little gentleman has preferences, routines, and a quirky charm that make him unforgettable to those lucky enough to earn his trust. His Personality Boq is happiest when the world is quiet, steady, and predictable. His absolute favorite part of the day? His walks. He walks beautifully on leash and will trot right alongside you like the world’s tiniest hiking buddy. He gets along well with other dogs, but people are a different story — Boq needs time, patience, and a calm approach before he feels safe with new humans. Once he trusts you, he’s sweet, affectionate in his own gentle way, and very food-motivated. (Blueberries, watermelon, and chicken? Yes, please.) Because Boq is deaf and has limited vision, he can be reactive if startled. He’s not recommended for a home with small children. His perfect match is someone experienced with shy or special-needs pups — someone who recognizes that progress may be slow… but absolutely worth it. Daily Life with Boq • Not fully housebroken, but does well if taken outside regularly • Doesn’t enjoy crates, carriers, or car rides • Likes to explore, sniff, and take in the world on his walks • Occasionally plays with small toys (when the mood strikes) Boq isn’t a turnkey dog — he’s a relationship dog. He needs someone who sees beyond first impressions and understands the quiet magic of earning the trust of a fearful pup. In return, you’ll get loyalty, routine, companionship, and the joy of being his safe place. If you’re patient, compassionate, and looking for a small senior buddy who just needs someone to believe in him, Boq Wicked might be your perfect match.
