Hi everyone I would like you to meet Pops (or as I call him Popsy) a very sweet, loving and special little boy. His life has not been an easy one. This little soul was abused and neglected his entire life by the people who were supposed to love and care for him. We were asked to take him and of course we said yes! Only skin and bones(6 lbs.),matted,not neutered and rotten teeth we got to work to make him healthy. And we did! Pops is 10 yrs. young and thinks hes a puppy definitely has a bounce in his step now that he is pain free! But mostly wants to chill with his person.He is utd,neutered and has had most of his teeth pulled and can now eat pain free. Pops is mostly house trained but will have accidents.Pops does well with other dogs as he has a few foster siblings. In spite of what he has been through he is a sweet,loving,happy boy he loves everyone and deserves a loving forever home. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION JACK SPARROW is currently in foster care in Houston, Texas and the adoption fee includes his transportation with Mighty Mutt Shipping to the north east if interested there is an application on our website https:/www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org/apply/ Sweet Jack Sparrow is such a handsome boy, he is approx 3 years and 15 lbs, he has a funky tail, its about 4 inches long, I cannot tell if someone tried to dock it at birth and did a bad job or if it was cut off..but I don't think it was..We did a DNA test on him and he is 56% Yorkie and 19% Shi Tzu along with several other breeds he gets along great with the other rescues but is not a big player with the other dogs, he is very much a people dog ,he loves to get attention, and will follow you wherever you go..so we think he would love being an only dog with a nice fenced in yard to wander in,he is well house and leash trained and just a happy little boy he is going to be a great companion for someone. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS,WE SHIP OUR DOGS WITH MIGHTY MUTT SHIPPING TO THE NORTH EAST OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only and no children under that age of 8 years. The total adoption fee of $500 ( and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. Note: **Mishka is part of a bonded pair and adopters willing to adopt both will be given preference before they are separated. Mishka is an almost 3-year-old Morkie who was surrendered with her big sister, Piper, as their owners no longer had the time to care for them. She weighs ~ 10 pounds. Mishka is the much shyer of the two. She has been getting used to her new human friends at the shelter, however, and coming out of her shell. She is a very sweet soul who loves to cuddle and give kisses once she is comfortable with you. Mishka is wee wee pad trained and is working on pottying outside. She needs work on consistency, but is picking it up quickly on her frequent walks. Mishka is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

Piper is a 5-year-old Yorkie mix who was surrendered to PAWS with her younger sister, Mishka, as their owners did not have enough time for them. They both need a good grooming! Piper is the more outgoing of the 2 girls. She is very friendly and social and likes to greet everyone she meets. Piper is housetrained and loves to ride in the car. Piper is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.
