Niko is extremely smart loves long walks. I’m getting older and I need back and knee surgery and I can’t take him out like I used to. He is house broken and is ok with being home alone while I’m out with no problem. I keep him in the laundry room while I’m out. He follows simple commands and is a good watch dog to alert when ppl are outside.

For most of my life, I was used for breeding… and when I was no longer wanted, I was dumped. 💔 But those days are behind me now, and I’m finally learning what love, safety, and kindness feel like. I’m a special needs girl, but don’t let that fool you — I’m adventurous, affectionate, curious, and full of personality! I love treats, cuddles, and being close to my people. I also get along with dogs and cats. 💕 I’m fully vetted, spayed, and up to date on my vaccines. Because of my tiny size and special needs, I’m looking for an experienced adopter who will cherish and protect me for the rest of my life. I may be small, but my heart is huge… and I’m ready to give it to someone special. 🐶✨ A mid age retired or work from home family will be ideal. Serious Adopters only please ...from Southern Lee County and Collier County only (no exceptions ) We are a volunteer organization. No small children in the house is a must .

But now those days are over, and I’m finally getting the chance to just be a happy, playful little dog. ✨ I’m adventurous, curious, and always excited to explore the world around me. I love cuddles, treats, toys, and being close to my people. I’m also clever, confident, and very resilient — my rescuers say I have a beautiful spirit. 🥹 I get along with other dogs and cats, and I’m fully vetted, spayed, and up to date on my vaccines.
