Blondie is a sweet 11 year old 5 lb yorkie girl looking for a forever home that will treat her like the little princess she is. This precious nugget came to us is such awful shape- she barely had any hair except for the hair on her head and her body was raw pink from all the scratching and scabs!!!! But look at her NOW!!! Amazing transformation after a month of medicated baths, proper nutrition and lots of LOVE!!!! Blondie loves everyone but because of her small size she will NOT be adopted out to a home with small children. This sweetie pie is a very inquisitive girl and she is happiest either on your lap being the recipient of attention, riding in the car and taking in the sights, or exploring the yard and keeping an eye out for wildlife (ducks and the occasional chicken LOL- she is mesmerized by them)! Lulu is a beautiful 10 year old/10 lb yorkie whose foster Mom says is the sweetest and easiest dog ever! Ok she might be a little biased, ? but Lulu is a truly classy lady. FCCR welcomed her with open arms after her owner died and no one else in the family stepped up to take her. Lulu loves to be near her humans and occasionally will jump into your lap, gaze into your eyes, wait for a belly rub and then jump back down and go to sleep. Lulu is vision impaired (she may see shadows) and does not hear well if at all but if you leave the room, she will wake up and follow you! She is pee-pad trained, enjoys sitting outside on the lanai and loves to go outside. She enjoys slow walks. She gets along with dogs but we don’t know about cats. Howdy folks!!! My name is Louis and I am a 1 year old 8.5 lb morkie ( maltese/yorkie) boy. I just arrived at FCCR and let me tell you I am sooooooooo thankful to all those folks that help me get to where I am with the FCCR gals! At intake I was a matted and (dare I say it) urine soaked mess. My former owners had left me on my own with zero attention or care ---they just fed me but that's about it. But hey that is my past and I choose to not dwell on it---instead it's my future I am looking towards! I am a happy -go-lucky guy and nothing gets me down ----I love everyone and can get attached to my humans pretty quickly- I like other dogs too , and cats simply don't interest me ---they tend to be bigger than me, have sharp nails and I kinda think they smell funny LOL. As you can see I received a shaved down so I need my little sweater on for the next few weeks but after that--watch out world!!! Handsome Lou will be sporting a shiny white hypoallergenic coat ---I can''t wait!
