Story
A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Meet Angus! This 8-year-old, 11 lb. pup is full of personality and loves the company of other dogs, making him a wonderful fit for a home with canine companions. He would do best in an adult-only household and requires a fenced-in yard where he can safely enjoy his independence and spunky spirit. Angus is not a fan of cats, so he’s looking for a feline-free home. Angus has vestibular disease of unknown origin. Thankfully, his condition is currently stable and has not progressed, though the cause remains uncertain. Angus currently weighs about 11lbs., is approximately 8 years old (est. birth date 02/14/2017), and his adoption fee is $85. Angus has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Angus, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. Meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Story
Meet Princeton! Princeton is a charming 3-year-old Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix with a big heart in a small package. He does great with other dogs and kids, has a moderate energy level, and absolutely loves being held—he’s a true cuddle companion. Princeton is housebroken and crate trained, making him an easy addition to the right home. Grooming isn’t his favorite and he does best when sedated for those appointments, but with his sweet personality and loving nature, he more than makes up for it. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who enjoys both playtime and snuggles, Princeton could be your perfect match. Princeton currently weighs about 7lbs., is about 3 years old (est. birth date 01/20/2023), and his adoption fee is $510. Princeton has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Princeton, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. Story
Meet Pebble! Pebble is a precious 7-month-old Yorkshire Terrier with a big personality in a tiny package. She’s playful, curious, and full of that classic Yorkie spunk. Pebble is still young and working on her housetraining, but she is already pad-trained and eager to keep learning. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would love a home where she can have a gentle playmate—or a cozy lap to curl up in, which is truly her favorite place to be. Pebble can be a bit mouthy when she plays, as many puppies are, and because of her very small size, she could easily be injured. For this reason, a home without young children will be the safest fit for her. We are also seeking a home with a small breed approved fenced yard. Pebble currently weighs about 5lbs., (est. birth date 07/21/2025), and her adoption fee is $660. Pebble has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. She is recovering from a fractured pelvis and a burn injury on her back, but is healing well. Puppies require a lot of time and commitment. Please make sure your schedule can accommodate a puppy as they will be a member of your family for the next 10 to 15 years. If you want to know more about Pebble, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.
