Our hearts hurt for Gordo and his friend Canelo. They were left on the road and thankfully a good samaritan brought them to the shelter on 1/18. Gordo is 3 years old and weighs in at 16 pounds. He is a sweetheart! He knows to sit when asked. He is a perfect gentleman on a leash. Once he has a spa day, he will be even more handsome! Are you already in love with this cute boy? Ask for ID# 16443 Run 301. He is neutered soon and will be micro-chipped upon adoption. He has tested negative for heart worms. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
