Solo is a 10-year-old morkie. He is cute and can be very sweet. Him and one of our other dogs does not get along very well; therefore, we are looking for a new home for him. Solo is in good health, however, his teeth are not in the best of shape. The vet wants to leave them alone. We do feed him soft food. We are hoping to place him in a good home where he can be cared for throughout the remainder of his life.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Marnie: A Little Princess Seeking Her Kingdom! Marnie is a sweet and lovable little lady who came into rescue as a stray and has blossomed in her foster home. This charming girl is ready to find her forever family and shower them with all her love! Marnie thrives on human attention and happily coexists with her canine foster sibling, most of the time. She's a pro at potty breaks, especially when kept on a consistent schedule, and has mastered the art of using potty pads. While she's not a marathon walker, she enjoys leisurely strolls around the block to sniff out the neighborhood news. Now, let's talk about Marnie's unique charm: she has a delightful, high-pitched voice that she uses to let you know when she can't find her people or when she's left alone. Because of this vocalness, Marnie isn't suited for apartment or condo living. She also takes her watchdog duties seriously, alerting you to any comings and goings! In her foster home, Marnie enjoys sharing a gated area with the resident dog during bedtime and when her humans are away, as she's not a fan of crate training (think opera-level protests!). What's Marnie looking for in a forever home? A calm and quiet environment with minimal social activity. Human(s) who are home often and ready to shower her with love and attention – she deserves to be treated like the princess she is! Ideally, a fenced yard or area, or a patient adopter willing to work with her on leash potty training. Someone who understands her medical needs and is committed to providing her with ongoing care. Applicants should have a strong veterinary history, demonstrating a commitment to preventative care and responsible pet ownership. Marnie's Journey: Since coming into rescue, Marnie has been diagnosed with paroxysmal movement disorder, which causes mild episodes lasting less than a minute. These episodes don't currently impact her quality of life, but her adopter will need to be prepared to monitor her condition and consult with a veterinarian regularly. Marnie currently sees a holistic vet for chiropractic and acupuncture treatments every 3-4 weeks and receives natural supplements to support her condition and help with her mild allergies. More About Marnie's Wonderful Personality: Marnie enjoys car rides (short trips are best!). She might also enjoy a companion dog of similar size and energy who likes a good chase and enjoys sharing soft toys, but she's also perfectly content being the only pampered pup in the home, as long as her people are homebodies. In her foster home she has thrived and enjoys all the attention she receives. Marnie is on special food and treats to help minimize her allergies and will require monthly grooming and baths to help keep her skin and coat in good condition. If you're searching for a devoted and unique companion, Marnie might just be your perfect match! Could you be the loving family to give this little princess her happily ever after? Marnie’s adoption donation is $425 and she is being fostered in Central Ohio.  She has been spayed, microchipped, received her rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza and Bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and started on prevention, as well as flea prevention.  She has also had a dental cleaning. A fenced yard is preferred as she doesn't reliably potty on leash. Her forever home will need to have a strong veterinary history.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.PLEASE NOTE:   If you are viewing this biography on a website other than the Ohio Fuzzy Pawz website like Petfinder, Adopt-a-Pet, or another search engine (the OFP website is www.ohiofuzzypawz.com), not all information transfers to partner websites in some instances.  If you go to the  individual webpage of our dogs , you will be able to get more information each dog. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable so, in many cases, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix.  We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Our Adoption Process The adoption process has several steps involved. Please review prior to submitting an application. Our adoption process is detailed here:  http://www.ohiofuzzypawz.com/info/adoption Our volunteers work very diligently to process each application and we try to ensure that we are making the best match possible for each dog.  We do not schedule meetings with dogs until an application has been approved.  It can take up to a few weeks to process an application or as little time as a few days, from the time you submit an application, please be prepared to adopt as we cannot hold dogs. Special Requirements Some dogs may have special requirements (for example, medications, a fence) -- if you apply for a dog, please be sure to read over the biography completely to see if there are any special needs and if you're home would be suitable.  If we indicate on the dog's biography that a fence is required, this means your home must have a physical fence.  Other dogs may require a "strong vet reference" which indicates that we are looking for a home that has a documented history of veterinary care with previous pets.  The first step in our process is to submit an online adoption application at www.ohiofuzzypawz.com/forms.  The application MUST include the personal references and veterinary, grooming, and landlord references (if applicable) and their respective contact information.  If you do not include the references and the contact information, your application will be delayed as it CANNOT be processed.  Once the references have been successfully completed, a home visit is then scheduled when a rescue representative can meet all members of the family or residents of the home.  No application is approved prior to the home visit being done.   At that point, the Directors will discuss any and all applications on a foster dog and make a selection--in many cases, there are multiple applications for each dog, so please be understanding that our only priority is the successful placement of each of our foster dogs. Out of State Adoptions We do adopt out of state to outstanding applicants, however, our process requires a home visit, so out of state adoptions can take longer.  We do not ship our dogs, adopters should be prepared to pick up the dog in Central Ohio.  March 8, 2026, 7:16 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Miss Sadie – Sweet, Gentle, and Ready to Love Meet Miss Sadie This darling girl is a former puppy mill mama who is now ready to enjoy the life she’s always deserved—a life filled with love, comfort, and companionship. Sadie is incredibly sweet and affectionate with her people. She loves going for walks, relaxing on the sofa, and soaking up all the belly rubs she can get. Once she feels safe, she happily gives kisses and wags her tail to show just how much she adores being part of a family. She has a gentle, sensitive nature and can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing new situations. Like many dogs with her background, fast movements can startle her—but with patience, reassurance, and a calm environment, she continues to grow in confidence each day. Sadie would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely explore and enjoy her outdoor time. She also enjoys the company of other dogs and would do well with a calm canine companion, though it’s not required. She has a low-to-moderate energy level and is happiest spending her time near her people—whether that’s napping, lounging nearby, or quietly keeping you company throughout the day. Sadie is house trained and does well when kept on a consistent schedule. She is able to signal when she needs to go out and benefits from regular opportunities during the day. She settles nicely at night and sleeps through without needing to go out. She is comfortable being crated for short periods when you’re away, though she prefers to sleep near her person—either in bed or in a cozy space nearby. Sadie would thrive in a home where someone is home more often than not, as she truly enjoys companionship and being part of everyday life. A household where she isn’t left alone for long stretches will help her continue to feel secure and flourish. She does well with other dogs and would be a good fit for a home with respectful children over the age of 8. At heart, Sadie is a loving, gentle soul who is simply looking for a safe place to land. In return, she will give you unwavering loyalty, quiet companionship, and so much love. Sadie’s adoption donation is $500, and she is being fostered in the Cincinnati area. She is fully vetted and ready for her forever home—she has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccines, including rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and Bordetella. She has tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention, and she has also had a dental cleaning.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.PLEASE NOTE:   If you are viewing this biography on a website other than the Ohio Fuzzy Pawz website like Petfinder, Adopt-a-Pet, or another search engine (the OFP website is www.ohiofuzzypawz.com), not all information transfers to partner websites in some instances.  If you go to the  individual webpage of our dogs , you will be able to get more information each dog.
