Buster just turned 4 years old and is a 'MORKIE' - Maltese and Yorkshire Terrie 6.4 lbs with a healthy goal weight of 7 lbs - he has curly white and tan fur. Due to breed - he will require extensive grooming! Regular trips to the Salon Buster is fostered with cats, small dogs and big dogs. He loves attention and sitting on his foster mom's lap. He is talkative - yippie and barky, always got something to say. Buster is playful and passive with other dogs, enjoys having playdates and being part of the party. This breed has a Life Expectancy is 10-15 years. We are seeking a committed family for this little dude. Buster came to rescue with two dog siblings after his elderly owners could not afford to care for them and taken to a small shelter. The Animal Control Officer contacted CCR and requested help - the dogs were neglected, dirty and not housetrained. They were clearly loved but owners started to struggle to care for themselves and the pets. Buster is now up to date on vaccines, dewormed for gut health, microchipped and neutered. He tested negative for heartworms and is on prevention. He has a birthday of 02/05/2022 and was purchased from a pet store. *Rescue does not complete DNA testing. Breed is based on documentation provided from the original purchase from a pet store - pet stores source from puppy mills and are not typically ethical, breed is not always accurate. FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee ($550.00) includes transport options to PNW (WA, UT, ID), Midwest (MN, WI, MI, OH, IL, IN) or select New England States (NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT) by pet transport partners. Story
My 2-year-old Morkie is looking for a loving home. He is neutered, microchipped, and healthy. He is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and happiest when he’s near his person. He loves to cuddle, and play with his toys but his love language is food! He needs a home where someone has the time to give him consistent attention and companionship. Due to my work schedule, I am not able to give him the time he truly deserves, and I want what’s best for him. He will come with his crate and supplies to help make the transition easier. Rehoming fee: $450- $500 to ensure a serious and responsible home. Please reach out if you believe you can give him the love and stability he needs.

    NAME: Jenkins BREED: Yorkie/Schnauzer Mix BIRTHDAY: 2013 WEIGHT: 15lbs ADOPTION FEE: $200   Jenkins is the happiest little fellow we've ever met! His little tail never stops wagging, and he's always up for an adventure outside, in the car, or with new people or animals, despite being completely blind. He does bump into things frequently but that never stops him from having a good time and making new friends. Jenkins' favorite things are back scratches, snacks, and naps. Although the shelter initially listed his age at 7, we believe he is a good deal older than that: however, he appears to be in good overall health and will complete his heartworm treatments in March. &#226&#128&#139 Jenkins is currently in a foster home and they were hoping it would be a permanent stay, but with two young children (who Jenkins adores), house training has proven to be a bit much. We will gladly place Jenkins in a home with respectful kids, but his new family should be mindful that he does need to be supervised or kept in a confined area. He wears wraps with no issue so this is helpful. If you have a little patience and a lot of love to give, Jenkins will bring joy to your life!  February 18, 2026, 12:48 pm
