ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13485Hi! My name is Poppy.- 3 months- 4 lbs- good with dogs- good with cats- good with children- quiet, even in his crate at night- working on potty training - Someone who won't leave me home alone for more than 4 hours, at least not until I am older. The older I am, the more I can stay home alone. I just don't want you to get mad at me if I have accidents or chew things I'm not supposed to when you leave me for too long. I'm a puppy, so I get bored quickly and when I'm bored I could get in trouble. Please note that because this puppy is so young, it has only received 2 of the required 3 puppy distemper vaccines. This is very IMPORTANT because it means that the immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age. Until then, the puppy MUST stay out of public places where it could be exposed to the germs of other dogs. These no puppy zones include all pet stores, dog parks, and for apartment dwellers, areas used by other dogs. These requirements are strictly for the puppy’s medical safety and longevity. This puppy is microchipped and up to date on age appropriate vaccines and monthly preventatives.

Story
Murphy Joe, rescued on 1/13/24, is an extremely sweet but still a little shy, black and tan, male yorkie born on 3/31/22. He loves to snuggle once you pick him up and he is starting to act playful with his foster mom. He weighed 8.4 pounds on 1/15/24. Due to his small size, he will not be considered for homes with young children. He was neutered, had a small growth removed from his eyelid, and given a dental on 2/9/24. He is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped. His adoption donation is $800 which includes the $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt Murphy Joe, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer will contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
“Miss” Abby, a gorgeous, 10 pound, silver platinum female yorkie born 11/2/20 is no longer a working girl and waltzed into her foster mom’s home ready to lay claim and become a house dog. She took over and made herself at home immediately. She is so ready for a home of her own where she can be pampered and spoiled outrageously. Her favorite place to lounge, besides in a chair with her foster mom, is on the back of the recliner where she can look out on the deck and back yard. She sleeps in the bed with her foster mom and that will be a must for her new parent(s). This little gal has a HUGE personality. She gets along well with the other dogs at her foster mom’s home, walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. Abby is spayed and had her teeth cleaned, is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea and tick prevention to maintain her good health. She is also microchipped. Abby’s adoption donation is $1200 plus an additional $165 transport fee. If you would like to make Abby your newest family member, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. Story
Tramp, a 1 year old, man about town, silver and platinum yorkie was recently rescued from the streets of a small Arkansas town. Everyone knew Tramp, as he wandered the streets of the town, but no one knew who he belonged to. After diligently trying to find out who owned him, a good Samaritan, couldn’t stand it any longer, scooped him up and got him into rescue so he can, at long last, find a home of his own. Due to no one really taking care of him, he did test positive for heartworms and is now on the “slow kill” doxycycline protocol to take care of that problem. Tramp is on the larger end for a Yorkie, weighing in around 14 pounds. He is good on a leash, rides well in a car, and is very social, getting along well with everyone, both two and four legged acquaintances. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard as he is young and active. Tramp has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on vaccinations. His adoption donation is $655 which includes a $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt this spectacular little boy and give him a well-deserved forever home of his own, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner.
