***not for first time dog owners, needs an experienced handler to live a full and joyful life*** Understands way too much, was told he has ‘hyper pattern recognition’ and it’s true, he remembers a situation identically for years. Current handler not suited / skilled to take care of needs. Has lots of issues with grooming, hasn’t forgotten a bad experience and has gotten worse about it since then. Loves to be outside and look out the window, thinks he’s a working dog. Might benefit from being on a farm. Sprints through mud and puddles every chance he gets. Timid around new people / pets / places. Struggled to build his confidence. Gets along with dogs (ignores cats but has limited exposure) inside the house with good introductions. Has been dog sat by strangers and has done very well even with 5 dogs in the house. Loves apples and bacon (loves to try whatever you’re eating. Looking for an active and experienced handler to help this little legend live his best life!

🐾 Meet Ollie! 🐾 Ollie is a sweet, playful 3-year-old Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie mix) who is looking for a loving home where he can get the time and attention he deserves. Ollie came into my care unexpectedly, and while he’s safe and cared for here, my schedule doesn’t allow me to give him the attention and consistency he really needs. I’d love to find him a home where he can be part of the family and get plenty of interaction and affection. ❤️ About Ollie: • 3 years old • Playful, friendly and affectionate • Great with kids • Gets along well with other pets • Uses a doggie door • Not fully house-trained yet, so he’ll need someone willing to work with him on consistency • Not neutered yet • Needs his booster vaccination • May already be microchipped — this will need to be checked Ollie would do best with someone who has the time to give him regular attention, playtime and a little patience while finishing his house training. He has a lot of personality and would make a wonderful pet.
