Story
Lollipop 🍭 is an 18-month-old Yorkie mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He’s heartworm negative, vaccinated, microchipped, and already on preventatives, he would be neutered this week and ready to start his next chapter. This sweet boy loves his people most and enjoys having other dogs around, especially ones who can help show him the ropes. He’s learning great manners every day, including leash skills, using toys instead of being mouthy, and settling into a routine. Lollipop was excellent for bathing and grooming, and while he’s still getting used to being picked up, he’s well on his way to becoming a total cuddle bug. He’ll do best with someone committed to continuing his training, especially around resource guarding and building confidence. With good exercise and structure, he settles nicely. Gritz is about 1 1/2-2 years old and most likely a mix of Maltese and 100% cuteness overload! Grits is a confident little girl and moved right into her foster home like she’s been there her whole life. There are 4 other dogs in the home and Gris gets along with everyone and loves all the humans she meets. Grits loves toys of all kinds especially ones that crinkle and squeak. And she LOVES food! She never met a food or treat she didn’t like and even loves the treats the dogs in her foster home turn their noses up to like apples! Grits is looking for a home with another playful dog in it for her to play with and/or active older kids. Size of other dogs matters less than play compatibility, this girl is looking for entertainment! Because she is so little and fast, a home with older children would be best. She is house trained and crate trained and rides well in the car.
