Story
Hi, I'm Timmy
I'm about 2 years old, neutered, up to date on all my vaccines, housebroken, and looking for my forever family.
My foster family says I'm a very good boy and honestly, I agree. I love being close to my people, getting praise, and hearing "good boy" approximately 700 times a day. I'm sweet, affectionate, and one of my favorite things is giving love. Whether its snuggling up beside you, following you from room to room, or looking at you with my big hopeful eyes, I love making my people feel loved.
I'm also crate trained! I happily go into my crate when my humans leave the house and at bedtime. I get along well with older kids, too.
I can be a little shy and easily startled sometimes. I used to be a stray, so I'm still learning that the world is safe and that I don't have to worry anymore. Because of that, a home with very young kids probably isn't the best fit for me. I'd do best with patient, kind people who will help me continue building confidence.
As I am very jealous when other dogs in the home get attention from my people, I think it is best for me to be the only dog in the home.
One other thing: my foster family suspects I may have a chicken allergy. We're still figuring that out, but I seem to do better when chicken isn't on the menu. Its a pretty easy thing to manage, and I wanted you to know upfront because I believe honesty is important in any relationship.
What I really want is simple: a soft place to land, people to love, and lots of reminders that I'm the best boy ever. In return, I promise to give you all the love I have.
If you think we might be a match, I'd love to meet you
