Cavander is a sweet and handsome Mountain Cur whose estimated DOB is 8/1/2019 and on 5/16/2025 he weighed in at 84 pounds. He's a little shy with strangers but it takes him almost no time to warm up. He acts a little goofy at his kennel, but if you get meet him out in the dog park, you'll find that he's the perfect blend of playful and chill. This smart boy know a few commands like focus, touch, sit, and down! Cavander is a big boy, but he's all heart, so come meet him today and give him the loving home for which he has waited far too long!Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

Mikey has been outside in a pen all of his life and not given much attention, so he is a little shy. He doesn't potty in his pen here, so would be easy to housetrain. Mikey loves to go for walks and chew on bones. He is a pretty neat guy once you get to know him.
