Story
Meet Nick, a striking 1-year-old Mountain Cur mix with energy to spare! This young, strong boy is looking for an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and the chance to sharpen his basic manners. He's good with familiar people and, while a bit shy when meeting new faces, he warms up with time and patience. Nick would thrive in a home that can match his active lifestyle and provide the structure he needs to become the perfect companion. If you're looking for an adventure buddy who's eager to learn and grow with you, Nick is ready to join your pack!

Story
We're rehoming Bernie because our 4-year-old timid small dog has withdrawn since his arrival. We had hoped he'd be a companion to her, but his size and playful energy have been overwhelming for her, and they now need to be kept apart. Bernie came from a desert biker bar and was said to be a Great Pyrenees & Pitbull mix (though he also has a Lab look). He's about 70 lbs, loves being outdoors, and is very social & enthusiastic with other dogs but never aggressive with people or pets. He's playful, enjoys walks and runs (does great on 3-mile runs), and loved his trip to the dog beach. Bernie has completed doggy boarding school and has a good foundation in leash training. He is food-motivated and very obedient when treats are involved. This is a difficult and heartfelt decision, but we truly want the best home for him where he can thrive. Bernie doesn't shed hair either.
