Story
We rescued Summer 5 years ago from a shelter. She was 3 months old. She is 5 years old now. She is very active and ALL muscle. She can be hyper, but is very smart. She needs lots of room to run. Lately she has been attacking the smaller dog at mealtime. We tried separating them, but we are not home all the time to watch them due to our jobs. They will sleep together in the dog house with no issues. We have two cats, she will chase the smaller one, not the older one. She is a hunter by nature, so if you have birds or squirrels she will chase them. She can be very calm in the house after about 5 minutes. She is housebroken, and she uses a dog door. This is very hard for us, but we cannot chance it as she is getting territorial with the smaller female. She loves taking walks (runs) and cuddles. She also loves her sweaters in the winter. She will play with kids, but her strength, has knocked over the little kids. She is an excellent guard dog!
