Story
Sheba is a 4 year old Mountain Cur mix. She is very friendly and social with people and very well behaved in the home. Her foster Mom describes her as the easiest foster they have had and said she is so, so good. She has potential with the right other dog, but would thrive as the one and only queen of her castle. Her ideal dog companion would be a dog that is calm, polite, easy going and tolerant and okay with Sheba being the queen. Sheba is spayed, current on her vaccines and micro chipped.  Her adoption fee is $150 and includes 30 days of free pet insurance through MetLife, a free bath and nail trim from Scenthound, and free professional training support for life - including access to all of our fun group classes. Adoptions are by appointment as Sheba lives with a foster family, please fill out an application and someone will contact you to schedule a meeting. ##2835302##

Story
Hi, I’m Stewie a 10-year-old Cur/Terrier blend boy who enjoys quiet, restful days with a fair amount of yummy food.  I love my people and enjoy the comfort of their affection as well as a nice cozy couch.  I weigh 49 pounds and would probably weigh more if my people didn’t love me so much and refuse to give me table scraps! Favorite Things: Stewie is a lover of relaxation.  He makes dozing look like an art form.  He’s not very interested in toys or even other pets in the home, but he knows when his people are there and when they’re not. He’s a lover boy with sweet puppy eyes that could charm you right out of your last dime.  He enjoys leash walks and exploring the yard including a good squirrel chase whenever possible.  He’s a bit of an introvert but loves having his trusted people nearby. Training & Manners: Stewie is house-trained when let out regularly. He walks well on a leash and has good house manners.  He’ll check out the food smells at the family table but won’t pursue it if he’s told no. He tolerates car rides and sleeps soundly in his dog bed at night. Health & Care: Stewie is neutered, heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, and microchipped.  He’ll just need monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog.  A simple routine of regular baths and nail trims will help this handsome guy continue to look and feel his best. Other Animals: Stewie has experience with dogs and cats and gets along just fine, preferring to keep to himself most of the time. Children: This gentle boy is good with kids of all ages. Ideal Home: Stewie will do fine in an apartment, condo, townhouse or a single-family home as long as he has a chance to stretch his legs on a gentle walk regularly. He can be left alone in the home for a few hours in a secure space.  Overall: If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion who has much love left to give, Stewie might be the one for you.  If you think he might be, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to fill out an adoption application. If it seems like it could be a good match, his foster family will reach out with more information. His adoption donation is $250. ##2739097##
