Story
You may remember Rocky- he was adopted out and is back in the rescue! We brought Rocky in from a hoarding case where he was kept in a tiny house with dozens of dogs, cats, and chickens. He was adopted out, however poor Rocky is a young guy with lots of energy and was not coping well when his owner left him at home all day locked up when he was at work. So we brought him back and are trying to find a better fit for him! Third time is a charm for his perfect home! Rocky is incredibly sweet and loving. He is almost two years old and is a Mountain Cur mix. He loves to go on adventures. He is a favorite at the boarding facility he is at. He would do great in a house that has a yard with someone who either is willing to drop him at daycare all day while they are at work (until he gets older and has less energy), someone who works from home, or someone who is not going to be gone for extended periods during the day. Please make sure you research the breed you are adopting, as each dog is different and has different requirements because of energy and temperament. Rocky is laid back for his breed, however they are known for needing consistent training and exercise. Rocky is located in Brevard County, FL. His adoption application is at www.mysaltydog.com!

These pups are in Sanford, Florida too!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application Sawyer and his siblings came from deplorable conditions, where they were left outside at all times and surrounded by trash. Despite this difficult beginning, Sawyer is thriving in foster care and showing just how resilient and loving he truly is. He is incredibly sweet and happiest when he’s with his people. While Sawyer enjoys exploring and playing with his siblings and foster siblings, he always comes back to check in, making sure to share a few kisses along the way. One of his most endearing traits is the way he gently places his paws on your face as if to hold you still before covering you in kisses. Sawyer would do best with an active family and would love having siblings—furry or human—to play with. When the day winds down, he’s more than happy to cuddle up and enjoy some quiet time with his favorite people.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 3, 2026, 8:41 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Our Sweet Surprise Litter!   Foster update:  Sweet Tower is settling in well and making great progress in her foster home! She is crate and potty trained and loves chew toys.   Tower is a talker—she loves to bark, whether she’s excited, curious, or letting you know she hears something outside. She is also strong, will need kind-patient parents that are fit to care for her. She’d do best in a quiete home with low foot traffic. Busy households with lots of comings and goings are a bit too overwhelming for her.  She’s still working on her confidence. Large crowds and noisy environments make her very nervous, so she needs a calm, patient family that will give her time to adjust and feel safe. Tower would thrive in a peaceful home where she can enjoy quiet companionship, gentle encouragement, and lots of love.  She’s such a sweet soul who just needs the right environment to truly shine! ******She would do best in a home where she is the only dog.******  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~   10 Adorable Puppies Looking for Forever Homes These ten precious pups came to Pet Rescue By Judy after an unexpected twist in their former owner’s life. Their previous caretaker, a kind woman with a heart for animals, had taken in several adult dogs under the impression that they had already been spayed and neutered. A couple of months later — surprise! — she found herself caring for a full litter of energetic puppies. Unfortunately, due to health issues, she was no longer able to care for the growing group and reached out to us for help. Now, these happy, healthy pups are ready to find their forever families!   Puppies require time, patience, and consistent training — but the reward is a lifetime of unconditional love.    A fenced yard is preferred so they can safely romp, play, and burn off their puppy energy ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~    Important Information for New Puppy Parents   Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. Loves long walks and scent-exploring outdoors. Enjoys short, gentle play sessions with more submissive or calm dogs. Affectionate, calm in the home once she’s settled. Adult-only household. She’s looking for a calm, predictable environment with adults who can provide consistent handling. Food-aggression work needed. She needs an adopter who will continue positive, structured training around feeding time (management + behavior work with a trainer experienced with resource guarding is ideal).
