Hello- my name is Aspen. I was part of a group of dogs found trying to fend for ourselves on the streets. We were caught and brought to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue. While here, we have had all our vetting done and learned what being a dog is really all about. While I am still a little shy, I warm up pretty quickly once I am comfortable with you! I am estimated at 6 months old and look like a bulldog/cur mix- so I’m short and stocky! I have been friendly with other dogs here. I’ve only met cats a few times, but they seem okay, too. Due to my background before being rescued, I am looking for someone who will understand my shyness and help me become more confident. I would love it if we could take some classes together so I can learn how to be the best dog possible!My $250 adoption fee includes vet check, up-to-date vaccinations, spay, microchip and deworming. We were all adopted, and I guess I drew the short straw as my family had to surrender me back to the rescue, as they could not care for me anymore. I'm 1 1/2 years old now and a very good boy - I know I didn't do anything wrong, so I will wait patiently for my new family to take me home! My rescue believes I'm a Catahoula mix, possibly with cur. Hi, my name is Rocky! I was found as a stray laying on a random front porch exhausted and sore from road rash. A Good Samaritan found me and reached out to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue to help me get the medical care I needed. I'm doing great now - a happy, healthy boy! I've had a pretty rough go of it in my past, but I'm a good boy who deserves a loving home. I know basic commands, I love the pool and playing fetch, and walk pretty well on leash. I'm best suited for a home with no other pets. I've done great with every human that I've met! I'm estimated at around 4 years old and last weighed in at 57 lbs. I'm currently being fostered by the great folks over at Arfington Pet Resort in Tamarac, Florida who fell in love with me when they met me a while back.
