Story
Hello- my name is Aspen. I was part of a group of dogs found trying to fend for ourselves on the streets. We were caught and brought to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue. While here, we have had all our vetting done and learned what being a dog is really all about. While I am still a little shy, I warm up pretty quickly once I am comfortable with you! I am estimated at 6 months old and look like a bulldog/cur mix- so I’m short and stocky! I have been friendly with other dogs here. I’ve only met cats a few times, but they seem okay, too. Due to my background before being rescued, I am looking for someone who will understand my shyness and help me become more confident. I would love it if we could take some classes together so I can learn how to be the best dog possible! My $250 adoption fee includes vet check, up-to-date vaccinations, spay, microchip and deworming. If you want to make me part of your family please go to www.gofar.dog and complete a free, non-binding adoption application. If you encounter any issues with our website, please email adoptions@gofar.dog.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. If you'd like to experience all the love I have, and want to make me part of your family, please complete the adoption application by pasting this link into your browser: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sm2546&method=online_form_html&formid=21

Story
Draco is a beautiful and loving 2-year-old Catahoula/Pitt. He has the best personality and is loved by everyone who meets him - everyone wants to say "Hi" to Draco. If he were a human, Draco would be a fraternity president or a politician shaking hands with everyone. He is very good at training and knows basic commands - serious potential in this area. Draco would do well in a home that keeps him active, as he loves to run and play. He is neutered and up to date on shots and heartworm medication. Draco currently lives with two other dogs and a cat, and gets along with all of them; he also adores and follows my son. I can't speak highly enough about this dog, and he definitely deserves a 2nd chance at life in a loving home. I am his foster and also have his sister in case somebody is interested in both of them - pictures are included!

Story
Princess is a stunning 50-pound Catahoula-Pit mix with a lean, medium build. She is incredibly loving and loyal, with a goofy, playful personality that will keep you smiling every day. Despite her sweet nature, Princess carries some scars from her past, which make her cautious and a bit skittish around certain people. Because she struggles with sudden movements, Princess would do best in a home without cats or small children. What she truly needs is a patient, understanding person who can give her the time, space, and reassurance she deserves to feel safe and build trust. Once she lets you into her heart, you’ll have a devoted best friend and a truly special companion for life.
