Story
Brittany is 7 years old and was left at a shelter when her owner entered assisted living. Brittany was initially heartbroken and incredibly sad but with the love and attention she receives at Nala's ranch, she has learned to enjoy life again. She had spent some times in a foster home and proved to be a perfect house guest, respectful of her environment, clean and loving. All she needs now is a home to spend her retirement years

Story
🐾 Meet Thor 🐾Thor may sound mighty, but underneath the name is a sensitive young pup still learning that the world isn’t so scary. At around 8 months old, Thor has already been adopted twice and returned because adjusting to home life has been hard for him. New places and new people can make him nervous, and when he’s feeling unsure, he can be stubborn about pottying outside while he works through his fears. Because he missed out on important early socialization, Thor needs a patient home committed to helping him build confidence at his own pace.In his most recent home, Thor snapped at a small child during two situations that made him uncomfortable, so we feel he would do best in a home without young children. We don’t see Thor as a bad dog — just an insecure one who struggles when he doesn’t feel safe. But here’s the fun part: once Thor opens up, he transforms into a goofy puppy full of zoomies, happy frolicking laps around the yard, and sweet affection for his people. Watching him let his guard down and finally just be a puppy is incredibly rewarding.Thor is looking for a calm, understanding home willing to go slow, build trust, and cheer on all the little victories along the way. 💛Requirements: Martingale Collar; No ChildrenAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
Meet Stellar — the Sweetest Wallflower 💐Stellar is a senior black and white Lab/Pit mix who came to us from a loving home after her owner’s health declined. She’s spent her life being someone’s best friend and is now hoping to find a new family to fill that role once more. She’s a gentle, sensitive soul who’s been understandably overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of the shelter. A bit of a nervous nelly, Stellar may start out shy, but with patience and kindness, her sweet personality shines through. She’s done well with both dogs and cats in our temperament testing, and we believe she’ll be much more confident once she’s back in a calm, predictable home environment.Stellar would do best with children 8 and older, not because she isn’t sweet (she absolutely is!), but because loud noises and sudden movements can spook her. Thunderstorms and fireworks aren’t her jam either—but who can blame her? When she’s feeling safe, Stellar loves to play ball, show off her “sit” for cookies, and learn new things to please her people. She’s smart, eager to connect, and just waiting for a quiet home and a warm heart to help her feel secure again.Ready to give this lovely lady a soft place to land? Stella’s got a lot of love left to give—you just have to earn her trust, and she’ll be your loyal shadow for life. 🐾 While she is currently spending time at a foster home to give her a cozy wait until her forever family finds her, inquire about her with our Front Office staff and they would love to give you more insight on just how wonderful she is!Requirements: Martingale Collar; Children 8yrs+All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home.
