🐾 Meet Thor 🐾Thor may sound mighty, but underneath the name is a sensitive young pup still learning that the world isn’t so scary.At around 8 months old, Thor has already been adopted twice and returned because adjusting to home life has been hard for him. New places and new people can make him nervous, and when he’s feeling unsure, he can be stubborn about pottying outside while he works through his fears. Because he missed out on important early socialization, Thor needs a patient home committed to helping him build confidence at his own pace.In his most recent home, Thor snapped at a small child during two situations that made him uncomfortable, so we feel he would do best in a home without young children. We don’t see Thor as a bad dog — just an insecure one who struggles when he doesn’t feel safe.But here’s the fun part: once Thor opens up, he transforms into a goofy puppy full of zoomies, happy frolicking laps around the yard, and sweet affection for his people. Watching him let his guard down and finally just be a puppy is incredibly rewarding.Thor is looking for a calm, understanding home willing to go slow, build trust, and cheer on all the little victories along the way. 💛Requirements: Martingale Collar; No ChildrenAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Her name is Luna. She needs to be in a fenced in property with a lot of space. She is extremely active and can be destructive if kept indoors for too long. She has really bad separation anxiety, so definitely needs to be with someone who is home at all times. She is a very sweet and loving dog!!! She just needs to be where her high energy spirit can be put to best use.

She underwent surgery at the shelter, and when we saw this sweet girl trying to recover there, we knew we couldn’t leave her behind. And honestly? She has turned out to be one of the MOST loving dogs ever. 💕 Leia absolutely adores people. She wants to be close to her humans at all times, and if you stop petting her before she’s ready… she will absolutely let you know about it. 😂 ✨ Professional snuggler ✨ Certified cuddle expert ✨ Loves attention ✨ Very people-oriented ✨ Sweet, affectionate personality ✨ Healing beautifully and ready for home life Princess Leia is already spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and her leg is healing wonderfully. We adopted Honey about 2 years after we got married. We met her at Big Dog Ranch and immediately fell in love with her. She was listed for adoption after aging out of a veterans service program. Honey is a sweet, trained dog with a heart of gold. As far as we know she is approximately 9 years old but her personality is like a puppy. She loves to be pet, cuddles, and loves her toys and treats them as if they are her children. She is a fun sweet dog who once she meets you she will fall in love with you and want to be everywhere with you. She has all her shots, is potty trained, knows commands (Sit, Stay, Come, Up). She has been kept in a crate as well as left to freely roam the house. She has never destroyed anything, and is very well behaved. She loves car rides and going with you everywhere. The only reason we are looking to rehome her is because we live in a one bedroom apartment and recently had a baby and it has just become too much. She truly is amazing and wish we could keep her.

I was actually born in foster care here about 10 years ago, so you could say this place has known me all my life. Since then, I’ve bounced between homes a few times — not because I’m a bad boy, but because I’ve always needed a little extra time and understanding to build trust with new people and situations. Once I feel safe, though, I’m as loyal and loving as they come.During my last stay, I joined the Homeward Bound program and spent a week with some great trainers who helped me meet new dogs, explore new environments, and gain confidence. I really blossomed! I was adopted into what I thought would be my forever home, but sadly, I came back when my beloved owner passed away unexpectedly. I’m adjusting well here again, but this time, I’m really hoping to find my true forever family.I can live with other dogs as long as they don’t mind a friend who can be a bit pushy sometimes. Small kids make me nervous, but teenagers are totally fine. Cats, though… yeah, they’re not for me.Now, I’ve got to be honest about one thing — I am highly food motivated. Like, really motivated. If it’s edible (and sometimes even if it’s not), I’m interested! Because I have very little self-control when it comes to snacks, my new family will need to help me keep my waistline in check. I’ll happily eat my way to a double chin if left to my own devices, and that’s just not great for a dog my age.If you’ve got a patient heart, a sense of humor, and a knack for portion control, I might just be your perfect companion.
