Story
Aspen is a sweet intelligent guy with some allergies that are controlled simply by diet. Aspen was adopted in 12/17 and returned 3/19 for a behavior change. Once back with us I reviewed all of his veterinary records from while he was in the home, the reasons he was seen and the multitude of times the family had boarded him in the short period he was with them. That explained a lot to me about this "behavior change". We put him on a special diet for allergies and have provided a stable environment for him, Aspen has been nothing but wonderful here just as he was in his foster home prior to the adoption in 12/17. He's a great dog, comical, loves to play, loves water and needs a "forever" home with out children, female canine companion only. We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Depending upon the dog some exceptions are made for those who live in apartments.   We also require that the adoptee will be a part of the family "living" within the home. Our adoption process may be found on our website at www.bitofheaven.org Visits are scheduled by appointment only via emailing request to ownedbycaninesandlovit@yahoo.com   September 13, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Nova is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Nova is a 35-pound female Mountain Cur mix who is ready to find her forever home. She is up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and flea/tick protection. Nova is kennel trained and walks beautifully on a gentle lead. She gets along well with cats, smaller dogs, and older children. With younger children, she does best under supervision, though her interactions have been positive. Nova is very loyal and affectionate once she has had a little time to warm up. An active dog by nature, Nova requires regular exercise and would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard in addition to daily walks and trips to the park. She will do best with an adopter or family who can match her energy and provide the time and attention she needs. If you are looking for a devoted companion who will reward you with loyalty and love, Nova may be the perfect fit. If you are interested in Nova, please text or call: 704-954-4948 or email Longjos134@gmail.com. ***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner directly***
