Story
Aspen is a sweet intelligent guy with some allergies that are controlled simply by diet. Aspen was adopted in 12/17 and returned 3/19 for a behavior change. Once back with us I reviewed all of his veterinary records from while he was in the home, the reasons he was seen and the multitude of times the family had boarded him in the short period he was with them. That explained a lot to me about this "behavior change". We put him on a special diet for allergies and have provided a stable environment for him, Aspen has been nothing but wonderful here just as he was in his foster home prior to the adoption in 12/17. He's a great dog, comical, loves to play, loves water and needs a "forever" home with out children, female canine companion only. We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Depending upon the dog some exceptions are made for those who live in apartments.   We also require that the adoptee will be a part of the family "living" within the home. Our adoption process may be found on our website at www.bitofheaven.org Visits are scheduled by appointment only via emailing request to ownedbycaninesandlovit@yahoo.com   May 13, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Katie, female Mt. Cur/Aussie mix, came to the rescue May of '22 when her owner passed away. Katie's d.o.b 6/4/19. She was heartworm positive which she was treated for after her spay. Katie will require a tall fence/privacy fence since she is able to climb (once she has lost some of the weight she has gained being confined during her HW treatment). Such a sweet girl, mom to Kadence, Kess & Kai, does well with other dogs, unknown on cats, size wise she is medium. We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Story
Beast must have a home with a fenced in yard. Beast is very shy. Multiple meet and greets with any potiental adopter is required to make sure they are comfortable. Once he gets to know you he will always want your attention and will always want ot be at your side. He doesn't really like to be touched, but once he gets to fully know you he will eventually let you pet him. He is very sweet and loves treats. No young children under the age 10 in the household. Does not seem to mind cats but I would keep a close eye just in case. Adoption fees include mcirochip, spay/neuter, and all vaccines. Flea and tick preventative are up to date for a month.  ##1670552##
