Meet Blackbeard! SEE FOSTER UPDATES BELOW! LOVES KIDS & OTHER PUPS! This one-year-old, 45-pound Mountain Cur mix will captivate you with his winning grin the moment he meets you! Blackbeard is currently loving life in a fabulous foster home. His foster family can't say enough wonderful things about him-a loving heart, great with kids, a light-hearted lover boy with everyone he meets. He adores his foster fur brother and the two of them are the best of friends-just check out their adorable pics! House-trained and crate-trained, Blackbeard really is the whole package. When it comes to snuggling, this pup can show you how it's done. He doesn't hesitate to plop himself right in your lap and enjoy all the love you have to give. Blackbeard can often be found snuggling on the couch, curling up in bed, and army-crawling over for belly rubs. His eager optimism is something you just have to experience for yourself. Zoomies and post play snuggles are some of his favorite activities. Social and curious, Blackbeard is such a joy to hang with. He walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and enjoys exploring with his people. This impressive pup already knows "sit," "down," and "come," and is learning even more every day. He loves all sorts of toys and treats and his foster family is able to take both away with no issue. As he is still a young man, he will benefit from daily exercise, continued training, and a yard to enjoy in his new home. At the end of the day, Blackbeard sleeps quietly through the night. Based on our evaluation, we feel Blackbeard would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids of all ages. We feel he has the capacity to live in a home with other animals as he loves his foster fur sibling. We are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby. If you think he could be the guy for you, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com today and submit your application for our bubbly Blackbeard.
