Story
Say hello to Jorah! We guess him to be a Mountain Cur or Plott Hound mix. He is another one of our Forget-Me-Nots. He was abandoned on farmland with his sister, so when the farmer was able to catch them both, they were brought to us. Both were in pretty rough shape, but with proper care their coats filled in nicely. It takes a bit of time for Jorah to trust strangers, but once he picks a person, he bonds hard to that person. He can tolerate the company of other dogs. He was adopted once and returned when he couldn't handle being alone for extended periods of time. He really is a sweet guy and loves attention and affection. He just needs the opportunity to bond. Also, Jorah is very trainable and knows some commands. Jorah needs to be the ONLY ANIMAL IN THE HOME. He is best suited for a single person, living alone. If you think you can manage a dog that bonds very strongly to the only person in the home, Jorah might just be the dog for you. Primary Color: Brindle Secondary Color: Black Weight: 75.6 Age: 6yrs 9mths 3wks

Story
Meet Patch – Your New Best Friend! 🐾 Patch is a 1–2 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix who’s as handsome as he is sweet. His journey started when he found his way to a kind stranger’s home. They cared for him for a month, hoping his owner would come forward—but when no one did, Patch came to us to find a new beginning. At first, he was a bit reserved, unsure of his new surroundings. But now that he’s settled in, Patch has truly come out of his shell—and he’s wonderful. He’s incredibly affectionate, loves attention, and has the most irresistible puppy dog eyes. He enjoys playing, but more than anything, he just wants to snuggle up and be close to his people. While he lived outdoors at his finder’s home, Patch tries hard to keep his kennel clean here, so he may do well with house training. He’s done okay with cats, and he’s generally good with other dogs—as long as they respect his space. Patch is on the lower-energy side and seems happiest just hanging out and being your loyal companion. If you're looking for a mellow, cuddly, and loving dog to share your days with, Patch might be the perfect fit. 🖤

Story
Daisy is a 4 year old Plott Hound/Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a zest for life. She was originally adopted from us as a puppy, and while her previous family cared about her deeply, they felt she would be happier in a home with more space, time for play, and continued training. Daisy is incredibly affectionate and people-oriented—she doesn’t know a stranger and thrives on attention. She’s playful, spirited, and loves being around other dogs. Her play style can lean toward the rough-and-rowdy side, so she'd be a great match for a confident dog who can keep up with her energy. She truly seems happiest when she has a canine companion, especially since she does struggle with some separation anxiety. Being left alone with another dog greatly helps her settle in. Daisy is smart and eager to please, and with a bit of structure and consistency, she’s sure to flourish. She would do best in a home where she has space to romp and a person or family who can provide her with regular playtime, enrichment, and affection. Daisy is a bright, loving girl who’s ready for her next chapter—could it be with you?
