Story
Rehoming. This sweet girls owner passed away. I am homing her until we can find her furever home! Miss Francesca "Frankie" is a 2 year old Mountain Curr mix breed. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She is potty trained and a very smart girl! She is the sweetest little lady and will make a very good companion for someone. She is gentle and laid back. Good with other dogs and cats too. Good with children/toddlers also! She really is a dream dog and I believe will fit in most scenarios.

Story
I got Loki when he was a puppy and he is currently around 5 years old. He loves people, going on walks, and lots of love. He has been great, but the allergies of my new daughters after being recently married have made things a challenge. It is too difficult to keep him in an area that is away from them. He deserves more than we can give him right now and would make a wonderful companion for a family or someone that is just looking for their next best friend. Loki has a lot of love to give and I just want what is best for him. After trying to make things work, I have decided that I want the best life possible. Thanks for reading!

Story
Has a valentines bag from Pup! A Super Neat Dog Boutique! I AM SPONSORED! Thank you Kurt and Julie Cox for sponsoring me! Meet Bonsi, a delightful Moutain Cur mix who embodies joy and companionship. At 1 to 3 years old, he is the perfect blend of playful and cuddly. Bonsi's energetic spirit makes him an excellent companion for adventures, and his goofy antics are sure to bring laughter into your home. Despite his zest for life, he loves nothing more than to snuggle up after a long day of play. Bonsi's friendly nature makes him a wonderful addition to any family seeking a loyal and affectionate friend. Give Bonsi the loving home he deserves! I’m not a fan of cats, so I would prefer to live in a home without any. Dogs are usually tested with other dogs their size, and we encourage meet-and-greets with your dog before adoption. Cat tests are available if requested, but they only check for clear aggression. Always be careful when introducing dogs to cats. Advice about dogs living with children is based on behavior like energy level and how the dog handles touch. Young children should never be left alone with dogs, and we cannot guarantee how any dog will behave with kids or other pets. Behavior seen in the shelter is just a snapshot and may change in a home. Dogs come from many backgrounds and may need training, time, and patience. Dogs should not be fed together unless you know they do not guard food. We also suggest learning about a dog's breed or mix to be sure it fits your family. Moving to a new home can be stressful for dogs. Use the Rule of 3 to help them adjust: First 3 days: Dogs may feel scared, tired, overexcited, or not want to eat. First 3 weeks: Dogs start learning routines and may show new behaviors. Keep things calm and avoid busy places. First 3 months: Dogs usually feel settled and more comfortable. I HAVE A BAG OF GOODIES COURTESY OF RACE BROTHERS FARM & HOME SUPPLY WAITING FOR MY ADOPTERS IN THE FOOD ROOM!

Inquires submitted via this site are not sent to Unchained Melodies staff, please apply at https://unchainedmelodies.org/adopt/ If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a one-of-a-kind look, Gabby might be your perfect match. Her golden eyes shine just as brightly as her spirit, and her unique tiger-striped coat makes her truly stand out. Gabby is the best of both worlds—she’s always up for an adventure, whether it’s a walk in nature or a car ride to anywhere, but she’s just as happy curling up with you for a snuggle. She may not technically be a lap dog, but don’t tell her that! Her journey hasn’t been the easiest. She was abandoned alongside another dog, left to fend for herself, and later endured heartworm treatment. But through it all, she never lost her sweet, happy personality (even if the treatment did make her a little hangry at times). Gabby is wonderful with kids, plays well with other dogs, and is both housebroken and crate-trained. She walks nicely on a leash and knows how to sit—we’re working on adding more tricks to her repertoire! At about 75 pounds, she’s working her way back to a healthier weight after her treatments. We haven’t had the chance to see how she does with cats yet. If you’re searching for a beautiful, devoted companion who will always be by your side, Gabby would love to meet you! https://unchainedmelodies.org/adopt/

Story
Say hello to Jorah! We guess him to be a Mountain Cur or Plott Hound mix. He is another one of our Forget-Me-Nots. He was abandoned on farmland with his sister, so when the farmer was able to catch them both, they were brought to us. Both were in pretty rough shape, but with proper care their coats filled in nicely. It takes a bit of time for Jorah to trust strangers, but once he picks a person, he bonds hard to that person. He was adopted once and returned when he couldn't handle being alone for extended periods of time. He really is a sweet guy and loves attention and affection. He just needs the opportunity to bond. Also, Jorah is very trainable and knows some commands. If you think you can manage a dog that bonds very strongly to the only person in the home, Jorah might just be the dog for you. Jorah needs to be the ONLY ANIMAL IN THE HOME. He is best suited for a single person, living alone. He'll benefit from an experienced handler and will need behavioral modification training prior to and after his adoption.
