Meet Benny Benny came in as a stray on 1/13/26 and is estimated to be about 2 years old—and yes, those eyes are real. One look at his different-colored eyes and you’ll be convinced he’s part supermodel, part cartoon character. Add in his ears, which permanently look like he’s either very surprised or just stepped out of a wind tunnel, and you’ve got a truly unforgettable package. Benny may be a little nervous at first, but he gets over it quickly and shows his sweet, friendly personality. He loves treats (who doesn’t?) and proudly shows off his ability to sit on command. While toys didn’t really impress him, Benny preferred to take in the world around him, curiously exploring everything like he’s on an important mission. If you’re looking for a dog with looks that stop traffic, ears with a mind of their own, and a kind, gentle heart, Benny is ready to meet you. Benny is located at the Richland County Dog Shelter in Mansfield, OH Phone: 419-774-5892 Adoption is an application process. You can request one via dogs@richlandcountyoh.gov
