Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Hank, the wiggly, loveable one-year-old Mountain Cur mix who will absolutely steal your heart the moment his little nub tail starts wagging with joy! This 48-pound bundle of sweetness is friendly, playful, and adventurous, with just the right amount of energy to keep life fun without wearing you out. He's the perfect mix of goofy and charming, and he somehow gets even cuter when he's excited. Hank has this signature move where he literally folds into himself like an excited little pretzel, and it never gets old. Hank is housetrained, walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car, and gets along great with other dogs and calm indoor cats. He's even a gentleman around chickens and horses, which is honestly impressive for a one-year-old pup still figuring out the world. He's working on sit and down, and with consistent training he's going to be an absolute star. Speaking of which, Hank would thrive with a family committed to obedience training because he's smart and eager, and the right guidance will help him shine. He loves walks, exploring, playing with dog friends, chewing on bones, and basically any adventure you're willing to take him on. Once he's settled into a crate, he does just fine and relaxes. Hank is the kind of dog who just wants to be included in your walks, your errands, your lazy evenings, and everything in between. If you're looking for a sweet, silly, and loving companion to share your life with, Hank is your guy! THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. February 28, 2026, 8:20 pm

Story
Picture this: Copper bounding ahead on a sun-dappled trail, ears flapping, eyes sparkling with pure joy as he checks back to make sure you’re keeping up. This loving, athletic guy lives for the outdoors—he’s explored every corner of our five acres, chased squirrels like it’s his full-time job, and zoomed around with endless zoomies that never seem to quit. He’s an incredible playmate for other dogs, effortlessly matching their energy for epic romps, and the ultimate hiking buddy who could go mile after mile without complaining. Copper is searching for an outdoorsy forever family who craves a loyal sidekick for daily hikes, long walks, hunting trips, or just romping in a big fenced yard (or one that’s GPS-friendly). If you’re the type who loves getting muddy, breathing fresh air, and coming home to a dog who’s thrilled to see you, he’ll fit right into your adventures. He’s affectionate, sweet, and ready to shower his people with loyalty and cuddles after a big day out.
