Story
Meet Rockie 🐾❤️Rockie is a 6-month-old male Mountain Cur mix with a heart as big as his playful personality! This handsome boy is full of life, love, and tail wags. At his age, he’s the perfect mix of puppy fun and growing maturity — old enough to start learning the ropes, but young enough to bond closely with his forever family. Rockie is curious, smart, and eager to please. Mountain Curs are known for their loyalty and intelligence, and Rockie is already showing signs that he’ll make an amazing companion. Whether it’s playtime in the yard, long walks, or curling up after a busy day, he’s ready to be right by your side. He’s still learning and growing, so he’ll thrive with a family who will continue working on basic training and give him plenty of love and guidance. With consistency and patience, Rockie is going to grow into a devoted, well-rounded best friend. He is up to date on current vaccines and is waiting to be altered. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy and a sweet soul to add to your family, Rockie is ready to meet you and steal your heart. 🐶💙 Come meet Rockie and see if he’s the missing piece to your family!

Duke2 is a thirty-eight pound eight-year-old male Mountain Cur/Plott Hound. Sadly his owner could no longer keep him and he finds himself at the shelter looking for a new home. He's a good boy: good with kids, other dogs and cats. If you have a heart for the seniors, this boy is for you.

Story
Picture this: Copper bounding ahead on a sun-dappled trail, ears flapping, eyes sparkling with pure joy as he checks back to make sure you’re keeping up. This loving, athletic guy lives for the outdoors—he’s explored every corner of our five acres, chased squirrels like it’s his full-time job, and zoomed around with endless zoomies that never seem to quit. He’s an incredible playmate for other dogs, effortlessly matching their energy for epic romps, and the ultimate hiking buddy who could go mile after mile without complaining. Copper is searching for an outdoorsy forever family who craves a loyal sidekick for daily hikes, long walks, hunting trips, or just romping in a big fenced yard (or one that’s GPS-friendly). If you’re the type who loves getting muddy, breathing fresh air, and coming home to a dog who’s thrilled to see you, he’ll fit right into your adventures. He’s affectionate, sweet, and ready to shower his people with loyalty and cuddles after a big day out.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Lucille is a wonderful medium-sized pup with the best of both worlds: she’s past the toughest puppy stages and ready to settle into her forever routine, but she still has that playful spark that keeps life fun. Eager to please and quick to learn, Lucille thrives with gentle guidance and loves being part of the action. (Fair warning — socks are still fair game!) She’s an active girl who would love a home that enjoys getting outside. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a long walk, or romping around with bigger dogs, Lucille is always up for it. Naturally submissive and easygoing, she avoids conflict and bounces right back into play with a goofy roll and a wagging tail. When the fun is over, Lucille is all about the cozy moments. Her little snores at nap time are guaranteed to melt your heart, and she’s happiest curled up after a day well spent. With her soulful doe eyes and affectionate nature, she’s looking to you for leadership, love, and reassurance as she continues to grow into an amazing companion. Lucille will do best in a home with older children. If you’re searching for an easygoing, playful girl who will happily shower you with kisses after a day at the park, Lucille just might be your perfect match.    Crate-trained House-trained Good with big dogs/boys Good with cats  Sleeps in crate Eats in crate&#226&#128&#139 &#226&#128&#139 Medical Notes: Spayed  Vaccinated Dewormed Microchipped Maintained on monthly preventions  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 16, 2026, 7:43 pm

Looking for love? Have a big fenced yard? Got a mouse issue? Meet Zelda the wonder dog who will search for hours around your house and bring mice straight to your doorstep. Sadly Zelda is struggling to get along with Lucy. Historically, she has been around cats, small dogs, and a teenager and was fine. If you need a good walk or run, Zelda is a good fit to kick your butt in shape. In addition, no one will prowl your home without your knowledge. Zelda is ready to be your Valentine. $5 rehome fee to go to Young Williams shelter.
