Story
One of 4 puppies from the same surrendered litter. Although he's mean to his little brother when the girls aren't around, they all get along and are often found sleeping in a ball somewhere in the yard. He's the most outgoing of the 4 pups, and often trying to squirm his way out of whatever is going on so he can go explore.

Story
One of 4 puppies from the same surrendered litter. He's the most shy, and although not the runt in terms of size he has it in attitude. If you ever wondered what a living squeaker toy might sound like, it's this little guy. Just holding onto him causes a flurry of cute puppy noises for no reason at all. He's super timid for a little boy covered in tiger-stripes! Such a cutie!

Story
One of 4 puppies from the same surrendered litter. She is inseparable from her little sister, they are always found snuggled up together somewhere or sitting so leaned into each other you'd think they were conjoined twins. Usually pretty calm, but once Elenor is in the mix it's playtime! .

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Sophia is such a beauty! She loves playtime with other dogs, but can be a cuddlebug as well once she has expended her energy. She is an active girl, and will be happiest with a fenced yard for running time—or a devoted athletic family to get her through her bursts of energy. Mountain curs are not a breed we see frequently here in Virginia; Sophia has been a “transplant” for over a year, and has made the change from her roots in New Mexico to Virginia with ease. She is familiar with kids, as her foster home has grandchildren who visit frequently, and she knows about cats. She is housetrained and knows about crates. What else can we tell you?    PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 6, 2026, 10:55 am
