Story
Meet Little Bear – A Tiny Puppy with a Big Sense of Adventure Little Bear is a young Lab mix puppy who currently weighs just 9 pounds, but he’s growing by the day and has a big future ahead of him. What he lacks in size right now, he more than makes up for with his larger-than-life personality. This happy little guy has never met a stranger. Every person is a potential new best friend, every toy is the greatest toy ever invented, and every day is an exciting new adventure waiting to unfold. His curiosity knows no bounds, and he’s always eager to explore, learn, and discover what lies around the next corner. Little Bear is looking for an active family that’s ready to embrace all the fun, excitement, and occasional chaos that comes with raising a puppy. As he grows, he’ll need plenty of exercise, training, socialization, and enrichment to help him become the incredible adult dog he’s meant to be. Whether it’s hiking a trail, playing in the backyard, camping under the stars, taking neighborhood walks, or simply exploring the world together, Little Bear is ready to be your constant sidekick through every adventure life has to offer. Most of all, Little Bear is ready to love. He’s waiting for a family to give him the bright future he deserves, and in return, he’ll fill their lives with laughter, loyalty, and a lifetime of unconditional love. 📍 Available for adoption at our Dogsville location in Humansville, MO 🖱 Apply to adopt at www.nmdr.org (select Missouri) ------ Many NMDR dogs have had limited prior socialization and may need time, patience, and support as they adjust to home life. Skills such as house training, leash walking, and handling may require continued practice. Progress will vary by individual dog. Homes with older children are often a good fit, depending on temperament. To learn more about NMDR and our adoption process, please visit our website.

Story
I adore this dog. My son got him from a friend- but his schedule just can't accomodate him. He is suspected GSD/Malinois mix... but got the best of both if that is the case. He LOVES training and has some basics. He is athletic and high energy, but has an off switch! He loves to cuddle, is very intelligent and sweet. Good with my 4 yo granddaughter. I hate to see him go, he's the best dog I ever met and if you continue to train him you will be rewarded with an excellent, beautiful friend.

Story
Milo mostly just lounges around, interacts well with dogs outside the house, however, needs to be the only animal at his home. I want him to go to a childless home. He has a cute tendency to poke me with his nose. He gets the zoomies outside. He took a couple weeks to adjust, but after that, he's been a great companion. He's just not a good fit with my current dog.

Story
This is my baby Blue, I got him from a lady a couple months ago..he’s amazing with everything he just gets anxious around other dogs outside but he’s such a good boy he loves attention (he’s very needy) he gets hot spots he has like three that are healing I don’t allow him to lick them! He’s trained but I’m not sure why but there’s times he will have accidents at night I’m not sure why it started when he got diarrhea ever since then his poop forms perfectly then out of nowhere he’ll have diarrhea which causes the accidents at night, which I’m concerned of

Story
Meet Ginger, a 6-year-old mixed-breed sweetheart! At 28 pounds, she’s the perfect medium size—small enough for cozy living but sturdy enough for adventures. Ginger is athletic, loves fetch, and would thrive with someone who enjoys the outdoors. After a day of fun, she’s happy soaking up sunshine, chewing a bone, or cuddling under a blanket with her favorite person. She loves adults and enjoys meeting visitors, though she may bark at first. Ginger would do best as the only pet in an adult-only home. She is exceptionally well-trained through the Colorado prison dog training program and is fully house-trained, crate-trained, great on leash, and knows commands including sit, stay, and heel. Training records are available, and her adopter will have access to continued training support through the program. Ginger is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, in excellent health, and will come with her kennel, bed, toys, food, and supplies.
