Story
Meeka and Mazee and came into our lives when their person, a relative, pasted away. We cannot take them long term, but we are committed to caring for them until they can be adopted to the right home. They are bonded half sisters, so they MUST be adopted as a pair. They are both around 7-10 lbs. They love daily short walks but are just as happy indoors. They would be a great pair for older or less active folks.

Story
This is with huge sadness that we need to rehome Jackson, but it is unfair to keep him on property where he cannot roam and be the kind of dog he was meant to be. We run an air bnb below our main home and he is very territorial with our family. We have him cut off from the downstairs area but that does not stop him from barking uncontrollably and there is always that thought that he could attack another dog if he had the chance. He is four years old has always been amazing with our child and our other dog, but my wife and I work so much that we just cannot give him the kind of attention he deserves. He would benefit from a home free of other dogs (possibly not if you have the ability and time to work with him, he is trainable) and has the freedom to run and be outside. We think he has some kind of herding dog in him. This is painful to do, but we are afraid of the liability due to having strangers and other animals on our property. He really is an amazing dog and so kind to people.

Story
Ozzy is a 5 year old loyal, passionate, energetic boy that loves to run free and be a part of your life. Ozzy is trained to sit and lay down on command, and will 100% of the time come when called. Ozzy is a loving companion that is great with kids, he grew up in a home daycare! Unfortunately, we do not have the open space and time to walk and give him the exercise he needs to thrive. Ozzy has a friend he hangs out and plays with all day, our other dog Rudy, but he needs even more exercise than that. A home with lots of room and limited boundaries would be best for Ozzy in my opinion. Under the circumstances mentioned above, Ozzy would be an outstanding addition to your family. Please do not hesitate to reach out with questions!

Story
Elliot is a sweet, loveable 7 year old lab mix...also mastiff, plott hound and a further mix of many things, about 74 pounds. He loves cuddling on the couch, fetching balls, walks, car rides and learning tricks for treats! He is leash trained and house trained....a very good boy! He learns quickly...knows a lot of voice and hand signal commands. Elliot just wants to please you and be with you and get lots of love. We adopted him from the Boulder Humane Society when he was about 4 months old. Elliot would do best in a home with no children or dogs. He is a calm and happy guy around most people and some dogs. Changes in our human family (NOT changes in Elliot) mean that he can no longer be happy here.

Story
Nismo is a 12 year old puppy at heart. She is still so full of energy she loves to play she loves to be loved. She is a sweetheart of a dog. She has an allergy to chicken so must be fed anything that does not contain chicken. She has always lived with other dogs and has always gotten along with other dogs. However she has not been socialized in a couple years outside of her other dog at home so she may take a little to warm up to new dogs(unknown but listing just incase) looking for someone who can love this girl the way she deserves in her last years. She is healthy and no known medical issues outside of the allergy. This is a heartbreaking decision for me I have never had to do this with any of my dogs. We would love to stay in contact with anyone who accepts her and loves her in their home

Not good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
We fostered Copper when he was 6 months old through Roice-Hurst and foster failed. His past before us is unknown, he was found wandering the streets in Delta. He came to us afraid of everything...people, walking on a leash, riding in the car...and we did him a disservice by not socializing him more. I have been working with a trainer on some of his behavioral issues and he is eager to learn and highly food motivated. Copper has lived in peace with our other 2 dogs for the last two years. He had started to show what we believe is jealous aggression towards our whippet which culminated in a nasty fight that injured the whippet. For this reason, we are seeking to rehome him with an owner where he can be an only dog. He shows no aggression towards people, although he does distrust them initially. Copper is high energy and needs a fenced in yard. He is kennel trained but never stays in for longer than 3 hours. He sleeps alone in a bedroom behind a baby gate & loves bedtime.
