Baker was adopted from Multnomah County Animal Shelter in Spring of 22, & I have had him in my care since. I am rehoming him because as his sole caretaker I cannot provide the space & time I believe a dog of his size needs, & I cannot keep up with the financial obligations. Ideally his next home would have a yard.Baker is a sweet & goofy dog, with a lot of personality. He loves other dogs, people & children. He likes to cuddle & sleeps in my bed, but he was crate trained as a puppy so I am sure he would readjust to that fine. I let him free roam while I am at work & he is house trained & not destructive at all. He is smart & knows lots of fun tricks. Overall, he is a biddable & food motivated dog, & I think the right person could work with him on his impulse control. I wouldnt consider him a high energy dog. He has a high prey drive & likes to chase squirrels & fast-moving objects like skateboards so he needs a strong owner (I wouldnt recommend him to a home with cats).

Luna is a beautiful, loving girl with a big heart and even bigger energy. She deserves a home that can give her the activity and love she truly needs to thrive. Luna has already lived many lives in her short time here, yet she continues to love deeply despite every change she has endured. She began life with an unhoused owner before being taken in by someone who wanted better for her. Tragically, that owner passed away, and Luna was then cared for by a friend who could not keep her long-term. My partner then brought Luna into his life and loved her dearly. After he passed away unexpectedly in a car accident a year and a half ago, I could not bear the thought of losing Luna too. Now, with a heavy heart, I have reached a point where I can no longer give Luna the life she deserves. My greatest hope is to find her a loving forever home and avoid surrendering her to a shelter. Luna deserves, finally, to be chosen for good.

Story
Lucy is a 40lb mixed breed that has been well loved for the past 13 years. After getting married recently, it turns out that my wife is allergic to Lucy, so we have to sadly ask someone to provide a loving home for her.She loves being outdoors, but is comfortable for long periods (8hrs+) indoors and does not need to get up during the night. She is patient with kiddos and other dogs. She loves being walked during the day and loves to bask in the sun. She is fed about 3/4 of a cup of dry food twice a day, and is not shy about accepting a treat now and again. :-)She is kennel trained for nighttime, but will also sleep quietly in her bed w/o the kennel.
