Rico is a 7 year old Golden Retriever/German Shepard/Weimaraner mix. He loves playing fetch, tug toys, basking in the sun, running around the yard, and hanging out with his humans. Rico would do best in a calm home environment that is cat free. A fenced in yard - even if it is small - would be ideal. Apartment living was fine for Rico as a puppy, but caused a lot of stress as he got older. Rico gets along with most dogs and loves to play. We have made our very best effort to create an integrated household between Rico and our cat, but Rico hasn’t made major improvements. With this dynamic and our work schedules, our goal is to do what is best for both pets, as much as it pains us to have reached this decision. We look forward to connecting with potential adopters.We have a sitter that Rico goes to stay with during vacations and what not. Happy to share their information if it’s needed.

Billie is a super sweet pup who would thrive in an active household with no other dogs. She is crate trained and knows basic commands including her name. She is very high energy and needs an owner who can keep up with her. Unfortunately she started showing resource guarding issues (mainly over people as opposed to toys or food) and even with specialized training has continued to escalate towards my other dogs. Its not fair to her or my older pups to have to keep them seperated all the time. I just want her to go to a good home that meets her needs.

Willow is an energetic and playful girl. She is good on a leash and extremely friendly. We have been trying to get her along with my other dog but my other dog is pretty aggressive towards her when she is trying to play. I think she would be best as an only dog or with another high energy dog who can play with her and is around her size. We adopted her from the shelter and they treated her for mange which is why her face is a little red and she does have patches of missing fur but she is healthy and not on any medication.

Story
My husband found Jax (pit mix) one evening after work, and the owners did not want him back. We decided to take him in and try and rehome him. Unfortunately we have been unsuccessful for almost a year now and we are starting to become desperate. He’s been a good dog, he’s got a funny personality but we have 3 dogs of our own and our house just isn’t big enough. Although he has done well with our dogs he did take some time to warm up, we also have a very bossy German Shepherd and they sometimes bump heads. He is a big love bug and very loyal. We do feed him separately as he does show a little aggression towards other dogs when food is present. He has never bit or lunged at any of our dogs he just growls. He is a very vocal dog, he will definitely let you know that is breakfast/dinner time or if he needs to go outside & potty lol He also is a farter. We do think that Jax had a rough past life but with some extra love & training we think he would make a really great companion.
