Story
I’m desperately trying to find a home or foster for a dog whose owner can no longer care for her due to health issues. Through no fault of her own, Heartly has been left without her person and is now stuck in a situation that can’t continue much longer. She’s about 3–5 years old (guessing) a medium/large mixed breed (possibly rottie/pit mix). She’s very shy and scared right now, but when her owner was present she was described as loving, gentle, and affectionate. With patience and a calm home, she has so much potential to blossom. She has lived as the only pet, so we’re unsure how she does with other animals. Her vet history is unknown, but we are 100% willing to cover spay and vaccinations if someone is able to help her. She may need support with house training and would do best with someone kind, patient, and understanding. She knows some basic commands (like “sit”, “stay”) With patience, consistency, and a calm environment, she has so much potential to continue learning.

Story
Brown Girl is 9 years old. We have had her since she was 9 weeks. She was rescued from a cold-weather situation with her mom and a little of 5 other puppies. Brown Girl is sweet, well-behaved, smart, and easy-going. She is not startled or bothered by loud noises (thunderstorm, fireworks, etc.). She loves a schedule and is very social (she wants to be wherever her owner is). She does well when I'm gone from the house for the day. She goes to her room, gets into her unlocked cage and stays until I return. She is not a barker nor a growler. She has never lived with other pets but has always been around children. She does have skin allergy issues that are managed by an occasional shot or meds. We are rehoming Brown Girl because my allergies have gotten considerably worse, and my work travel schedule has increased. In 2025 Brown Girl spent 128 days in boarding. I think thats selfish and unfair, she deserves someone who can love on her in her senior years and spend time w/her
