Jack is 8. Jack belonged to a family member before I took him in when they relocated. Unfortunately Jack and my dog whom is reactive do not get along at all. Jack is very sweet, playful, high energy with a high prey drive. Very cuddly, loves belly rubs. Fast learner, obedient, excellent listener. Will do best in a single pet household with no children (may do okay with other dogs) and an experienced dog parent/s.

Story
Blaze is a quiet, sweet dog whose owner recently died. Calm disposition, loves walks and sitting outdoors and watching over things. She does not need a lot of exercise, however. She welcomes visitors, warm to strangers. Listens and responds well, loves affection-rewards equally as well as food-rewards. She comes when called and leads you to the door when she needs to go outside. Best suited as the only dog in the household, unless with a very experienced owner. Does not chew or exhibit any anxiety-related behavior. UPDATE: Blaze is currently awaiting treatment for a leg injury and is being fostered in Joliet.

Story
We are hoping to find our sweet boy Ozzie a new, loving home. He’s a beautiful 4-year-old chocolate mix, but will require special care from an experienced owner. We adopted Oz when he was 8 weeks old from a local rescue. We don’t know much about his history, but Oz has needed anti-anxiety meds ever since he was a puppy. He’s very skittish & sensitive to sound, movement & touch, which can manifest as nipping & resource guarding. Even with his challenges, there is a lot to love about Ozzie. He is unequivocally loyal to his humans. He enjoys quiet walks, running around in the backyard & training sessions. He’s an excellent student & will work hard for a treat - our trainers have loved working with him! We love Oz & this has been an impossible decision, but we are committed to finding Oz a new family that will be as patient & understanding towards his needs as we have been. Story
Oakley is a 4 year old Bernedoodle with a loving temperament; after coming home from a long day (or after getting up in the morning) she prefers to cuddle first before going out to potty. Oakley has a very good bladder endurance. Oakley has been great with our 2 children, ages 3 and 1. Her mom is a white standard poodle, her dad is Bernese; her lifespan is estimated at 12-15 years; her D.O.B is 3/3/22. Oakley plays great with other dogs, even small dogs. If another dog plays aggressive she plays passive. Oaks has environmental/seasonal allergies, and food sensitivities; this makes her prone to dermatitis, which can lead to ear infections. This can be kept under control if given prescription Hills Z/D, and Apoquel, but both are expensive. My house is too small, I work a lot, and I have a special needs child. I love Oakley, but I cannot give her the time she deserves. I got Oakley from a breeder when she was 9 weeks; this breaks my heart, but Oakley needs a dedicated, capable owner.
