Story
Jim is a 10 year old dog that I have had since he was 8 weeks old. He’s a sweet boy that loves to play and go for walks. He did tear his ACL when he was very young while running through the woods so he does require a joint medication daily since his repair. Circumstances have changed at home and he is not good with kids. Also not great with other dogs. He needs a home with owners that are child and pet-free and patient with his anxiety.

Story
Nova came home from the Humane Society in 2019, and believed to be between 1 - 2 years old at the time. She has always been healthy, sweet, loving, without any bad habits. She does not chew on anything but her toys, does not get into the garbage (unless left out while gone), and does not get on the furniture unless invited... except when you aren't home to see, lol. She is crate-trained, although I didn't use it unless traveling. Nova is a great dog and loves people. My life has changed and I do not have a permanent home. I hate to give her up, but I have come to the conclusion that she needs more stability than I can give her. She needs to run and play freely (fenced yard preferably). She is a strong dog and has pulled me off my feet, not because of deer, the usual, but because of a box turtle in the yard! Go figure!Everything goes with her: beds/cots, crate, toys, food, dishes/bowls, leashes, heartworm tablets (if any), and backseat travel pad.

Story
Gunther was around 7 months when we got him. It is now a year later and we have to rehome him for health (ours) reasons. We love this dog! He had a hard beginning…separated from his mom too early and left alone too much as a small pup. Since he has been with us he has become more secure and is a happy guy! He is eager to please and is sensitive to correction. He knows a lot of words! He wants to be around “his people” all of the time when not sleeping or outside. He is curious and a little mischievous (sock stealer!) and has a great watchdog bark! He has been left alone for up to 6 hours with free run of the house and has never chewed up furniture or shoes or anything of value. He loves chewing bones and antlers. He runs fast (agility?) and did well with other dogs in “doggy daycare” for 3 days. He needs exercise to be his best. He is too rough with little kids but is ok with kids bigger than him. Would do best with dog loving adult and or family with older kids. A great buddy!
