Story
Riley is such a sweet girl who just wants to be loved. I got her back in October 2025 from the Ingham County Shelter and they thought she was around 3 years old then. She had just had puppies and was abandoned by her family. I am looking to rehome her because she can be rough with my other dog. They get along ok but Riley would like all the attention and doesn’t allow our other dog to be close with us or play. I take both dogs to the dog park and Riley does great with all the other dogs. She loves to be with people and cuddle. She knows basic commands like sit and lay down. She does pull while walking on her lease but I am sure after some training she would learn not to pull. She does want to please! I feel like she would do best if she was the only dog in the house because she does love all the attention. She can jump up so I don’t think she would be good with younger kids because she is so big and could knock them over.

Story
We are looking for a new home for our sweet dog, Darla. Darla is a four year old unknown mix that we adopted as a puppy. She can be timid and shy around new people and dogs at first, but quickly warms up. She does great with other dogs and kids and has never shown any aggression. She has never been around cats, but I’m sure there would be no issues as she is so gentle. She loves to go for walks, cuddle and play with her toys. She is fully crate-trained. She does have some special needs that we want to be upfront about. She has skin allergies and occasional ear infections that are managed with Apoquel and a daily vitamin. While she is house-trained, she does struggle with occasional accidents in the house when not kept on a consistent schedule. We think Darla would thrive in a home where she can be given the attention and consistent schedule she needs. She is truly such a sweet girl and loves to both play and lounge around with her people.

I got her from my niece which she found her as a stray 3 years ago. I have no medical history on her as she just only been with me 3 days. My apartment will not allow her so she is free to adopt to a good home. She comes with food bowl and bed along with treats and a few treat toys. She has to go asap so please only serious applicants.

Meet Meadow!! This sweet angel is a snuggle bug and will take all the cuddles you want to give her. She is affectionate and loving and would like nothing better than to make your lap her home. Meadow has been neutered or spayed, given age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, is heartworm negative, and on prevention. If this sounds like the pup for you, please complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Transports leave every week alternating between the NE and the Great Lakes. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. Ramsey is 2 years old and is mixed with Australian shepherd, German Shepherd, golden retriever, lab and a few others. This is from DNA test results. He is a very good boy and highly trainable. House trained, crate trained, good with cats and kids. He does become anxious around new dogs. Not aggressive just high anxiety and will bark/whine and jump up on owner. Hes met new dogs in the home and was very anxious at first but the second time the dog was over he was already 98% better and used to their presence. This is his only flaw. He’s very sweet and loyal. He’s sensitive and obedient. I am moving and very sadly, cannot take him or his brother with me.
