Jamie’s human mom died, family isn’t able to care for him. Trying to keep him from going to a shelter Currently living in a foster home with 3 other large dogs.He wants a home w/ love, affection.Jamei’s original home had two small dogs and a cat.Loves car rides, has a few stuffies that he likes to play with.He’s not treat motivated, a piece of people food is his favorite. Notice that he waits for the other dogs to get their treat before he takes his.Wants to hear what a “good boy”, he is.Will bark when someone comes on the property to let you know.Totally potty trained, working on the leash walking, He has stopped rushing the door . He knows basic commands. Loves to sleep in the bed with you if you allow it. As far as our knowledge he’s never been crated.Diet needs are: Vet believes that he may have a grain /chicken allergy. Just switched foods to salmon and sweet potato from Costco. All itching has stopped.

Story
You can see “Zues” at Munster, IN Humane Society Jamie is a great dog, has manners and absolutely loves people! He came from a home of an elderly woman who was bedridden. He lives to be told what a good boy he is. His mom and human brother have both past in the last 1 1/2 years. He basically lost everything & everybody that he loved. He came to live with us about 6 months ago, grieving and feeling lost. He’s come out of his shell and is truly a great dog. He loves cuddles, sleeping next to you on the couch or on a dog bed in your room. We have never crated him, he got locked in a small laundry room and developed separation anxiety. I believe that we have worked through that. He now remains calm when we leave. We tell him that “he has to watch the house”. He does love car rides.

Story
Scout is an Australian Shepherd mix. She is medium size and is about 7 years old. She is a great watch dog and loves to cuddle on a couch. She is unpredictable with strangers coming and going in her space. She gets along with some dogs super well and not other dogs. She is usually great with kids once she has time to say hello. No biting episodes with a kid. She is a food horder; meaning she would eat all day long and is possessive around her food so we never let kids or other dogs around her while she eats. She needs a fence yard or chained up well. Worst Behavior: She Runs If Scout gets out she Will run. She often comes back but we normally have to go fetch her-if we find her she will most always jump right in the car and come home. She finds it to be her favorite game. So a fenced yard would be preferable and someone looking for a great companion and watch dog.
