Story
Hello! My name is Buddy. My story is unknown. I was turned over to animal control after a series of stories that do not make much sense. I am petrified of everything currently, except men, I am what you could consider a, 'Man's bestfriend' I am in search of a foster to adopt as I need to get used to house life. There has been a lot of progress with me. I allow shelter staff to pet me and take me on walks, though I am still very scared. I also like being in the presence of people, but I observe things from a distance. The shelter staff guess that I was chained and possibly beaten, though nothing is known for sure. They always tell me they wish I could talk. Please give me a chance, I deserve it.

Romee must go to a female owner, once she has your trust she can be warmed up to men. She is 4 years old. She is not aggressive but is very timid towards men. Romee requires a large fenced in yard. Romee is very sweet, cuddly and well groomed. Romee is very independent, listens well to commands, does great in the car. Romee is great with all dogs but requires time to build trust. Romee is very active and requires daily walks, someone who will keep her busy. She is extremely smart, well trained, and loves to hunt. She is crate trained and only sleeps in it at night.
