Story
Spooky was found wandering a dirt road in the countryside. He happily approached the first person he saw, and from that moment on showed how trusting and loving he truly is. Sadly, nobody came forward as his owner, and we suspect he was a dumped pet. In his foster home, Spooky is always good for a laugh. He's very curious, loves to nest with blankets and soft toys, and is happy to cuddle close once he knows you. Spooky currently doesn't show any real command training, but we're working hard to teach him a few things. He cooperates for baths and grooming, has a very gentle mouth, and loves to spend his time around others. He's curious about cats and generally sweet to them, and has gotten along well with his two dog foster brothers as well as the two cats. This sweet boy needs a fenced yard that does not have any holes he can squeeze through. He'll need a patient owner to teach him things like how to behave on a leash. But most of all, he just needs a loving family.

Hello, meet Nia! She is 2.5 years old and a mixed breed. She loves queit and calm spaces and would love a big backyard to run around in. We adopted Nia 2 years ago and unfortunately, we are unable to keep her. We have another dog and they get a long just fine but she does prefer to be the only animal as she can be quite jealous. Like most dogs, she is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks but if she takes her anxiety meds, she will be just fine. Nia needs to be in a home with no young children. They make her nervous and she doesn't like when they're loud or run around. She truly is the sweetest girl and we wish we had the right environment for her to thrive. This is Moose he is going to be 6. He was in a house fire caused him to be with us. He does NOT like men. He was raised in a house with all girls. he doesn't like to interact with us here so he spends most of his time in the his make shift pen which was supposed to be temporary but nothing work out the way his owners wanted too. So now we are seeking alternatives.

This is my father’s dog. He adopted her after his second wife passed. Unfortunately my father’s health has declined to the point that it’s very hard for him to keep up with her. He doesn’t have a fenced yard so she can’t just go out and run around. He has to take her out every time and this is too much for him. She needs to be the only dog in the house or go to someone with time to help her adjust. She’s very friendly with people. Never seen her with a cat. She doesn’t react to squirrels so a cat could be okay. She needs a yard to play in and to just be loved by a caring family

Meet Nero 🖤 This is extremely hard for us, but due to a sudden move, we unfortunately have to find Nero a new home. He cannot come with us, and we don’t have any family who can take him. We’ve had Nero for 3 years after adopting him from Adopt-a-Pet. He is 3 years old, with a September birthday. Nero is all black, including his tongue! We believe he is a Pit/Boxer mix, but we were never given his exact breed. He is loving, loyal, protective, and wonderful with children of all ages. He can be anxious and cautious around new people and may take some time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he is an amazing and devoted dog. His shots are not currently up to date, and he is not neutered. We are asking a small $80–$100 rehoming fee. We are looking for a loving, responsible home where Nero will be safe and treated like family. This is not an easy decision, and we truly want the best for him. 🖤
