Story
Millie is an 8-year-old sweetheart who was rescued in 2018 as a puppy. She has spent her life being deeply loved and enjoys walks, playing with her favorite squeaky rooster toy, and curling up on the couch with her people. She is loyal, affectionate, and happiest when she’s close to the people she loves. Five years ago, she welcomed a younger canine sister into the family, and the two have been inseparable ever since. After a heartbreaking bite incident involving our toddler, we made the incredibly difficult decision to find Millie a home better suited to her needs. We believe she would thrive in a calm home without young children, where she can receive the love, patience, and stability she deserves. This decision has been made out of love for both our children and Millie, and our greatest hope is that she can have a safe, happy second chapter.

Story
Luna. She’s a sweet, affectionate, smart, sensitive, highly intuitive, submissive dog - who loves playing, naps, romping in the yard, daily sniff walks, or just watching the birds & squirrels. She does absolutely wonderful with children & other dogs. What you need to know:She’s very submissive to humans & other dogs, meaning she lets out a drizzle of pee occasionally due to the excitement/overwhelming emotions she feels. It’s getting better the older she gets. She can be timid/shy at first when meeting & will back away to touch or become submissive & pee a little bit until she knows it’s okay. She will need a lot patience & time to get to know someone because of her sensitive nature. She gets nervous in the car & sometimes sick. She has never shown aggressive behavior towards a human or dog.She uses a gentle lead to go on walks because she is strong & will pull with just a harness. All she wants is to give love & be loved - taken care of by someone who understands her & her needs.

Story
Bella was adopted as a puppy when she was found living on the street in the Dominican Republic. She's a sweet, low-energy, older pup who loves to sleep and cuddle. She will go for short walks but at this point she mostly just likes to lay around, especially outside in the sun. She has been attacked by dogs a few times and CANNOT go to a home with other dogs. Since she was attacked, she has started taking some pills for anxiety. She has never been aggressive with people, and has always been great with our son, from baby through toddler stage. We are moving out of the country to an apartment that doesn't allow dogs, so we're looking for a loving, caring home for our sweet girl. She would do well in pretty much any situation except with other dogs.

Story
Hadley is a very sweet, happy, and cuddly gal. She is looking for a new home due to her owner moving to assisted living. She is 8 years old and is simultaneously a puppy that loves to bounce and zoom, and an old lady that just wants to burrow up with her person and nap. She was adopted at about 2 years old after being dumped in a kennel behind a grocery store, very malnourished and with a broken rib. Despite this she is very friendly and resilient. Due to being adopted in late 2020, she's been a bit of a homebody and hasn't been well socialized to other dogs. She would do best in a home without other dogs. She loves people but may take a little more time to warm up to men in her space. She hasn't had much experience with children and has lived with cats. She is housebroken, has basic obedience skills and is very eager to please. Hadley is accustomed to having a retired caregiver and would be happiest in a home with people around and available to give her love and attention.

Story
Name: Castiel Age: 6 months Breed: Mixed (we think lab/pit) * Friendly with other animals and children (he gets along with our 3 year old pretty well but he can knock you over when he gets the zoomies!) Castiel was found in a small town in Florida at around 6 weeks old. We relocated to Minneapolis with him and he's now 6 months old. He gets along with other pets and kids for the most part but he does need to be taught manners and that not everyone is someone to play with. He's very friendly and very smart, we just don't have the time or the appropriate resources here that we did in Florida and we're trying to do what's best for him. We think he's some kind of mix between a lab and a pitbull but we're not sure (the lady who gave him to us said he was corgi/bulldog mix but we have since learned that is not true!)
