Story

I got Chi Chu back in 2018 in Louisville, KY. He was a rescue from an abandoned property that was repossessed. He’s so friendly and playful. He does very well with people of all ages. He’s been around kids as young as a year. He can seem aggressive when you first meet him, but that’s just because he likes to be the center of attention and wants you to say hi. He’s loveeeessss tummy scratches. He’s been around other animals, cats and dogs but he’s somewhat territorial. He has lived with four other dogs at one point in time and adjusted just fine. With proper training and patience he can adjust to any situation. I would love for him to go to a home with young kids that will be playful and cuddly with him. I would love for the family to be active and have plenty of outdoor space for him to play.

Story

This is Luna! We rescued her when she was 3 months old from the humane society. She’s now 7 years old and we unfortunately have to give her up due to us moving. We are so sad we cannot take her with as she’s the most loving dog ever ! She’s very sweet and loves to cuddle. Her favorite thing is a comfy blanket. She’s very playful and would do best in a home where she gets all the attention. She’s great with kids. She’s fully vaccinated and had both her ACLs repaired a few years back. She’s good as new now ! Story

We adopted Linus from spots last stop. He will be 2 years old June 3rd. He is a good boy. He is potty trained, crate trained, and loves to cuddle. We are looking to rehome him because my daughter who is 10 does not get along with Linus. He has never bit or attacked her but we just do not want anything to escalate. Linus is an energetic dog that loves to play catch and do tug a war with his rope toy. He listens well and is close to being trained off leashed. He is still a young boy and wants to say hi to everyone he meets. He does well with other dogs. We have not introduced him to cats. We want him to go to a home that is loving and willing to help him train better with approaching children. He does well with our 6 year old and 2 year old nephew. It’s just sometimes seems to get anxious when they get loud.

Monroe was brought to Minnesota from my grandmas farm as a 9 week pup. She is about 7 months old. She is cuddly, hyper, and loyal. She needs a home with lots of love, attention, and with patience. She knows basic commands and uses the bathroom outside. She is currently signed up for training classes at PetSmart, you are free to take her as it is paid for. She also has a monthly vet insurance bill of $66 for about the next 5 months I would like her new owner to take over to ensure she gets updated shots, etc. She is spayed and loves other dogs and kids. I just no longer work remote and cannot leave her all day in a kennel. I also do not have the time to properly finish her training. She is a mix of heeler, cur, and pit.

Gibbs is a 5 year old pit mix that loves to play. He is Skittish with strangers and takes a little time to warm up, and prefers women, but does good with men. He is Crate and house trained, with several other commands mixed in. He needs a yard to run and play in. He is good with younger kids but warms up to most children quickly. Crazy smart, spunky, and a playful goof. He loves to talk, and the idea of fetch, but is still learning to give the ball back. Gets along with puppies, but is unsure of other adult dogs, but usually does okay if there is a boundary and the other dogs don't come up to fast. He Enjoys car rides, and does really good, he even knows how to roll the window down. He enjoys tummy scratches, side pats, a good cuddle, and thinks hes lap dog. When playing, he likes to be close to his person. He will smile when nervous and enjoys giving love nibbles to his person. He is food driven, with food allergies. Can be UTD on shots and neutered before going to a new home
