Story
Duke is a 1 year old pup with tons of love to give! He’s such sweet boy but we just cannot keep him contained unfortunately :(. He would need a home where he’s let out on a leash or can have tons of room to run or a good sturdy fence! Duke is very loving with babies and young kiddos. He does pretty good overall not having accidents in the house but still has the occasional one. He does really good with our other dogs but he’s always been around them so would need a good intro to any other dogs. Loves to be outside and get all his energy out! He loves toys but would take an antler or some sort of bone over toys any day!! He likes to cuddle but also loves being independent. This little man does great in his kennel for our longer work days but would do great in a home he can roam for a lot of the day or longer in the evening. He is very food motivated as well. This sweet guy needs a home that can give him a little more time than we can right now!!

He was found in Oklahoma abandoned. We brought him back to KC MO. He is about 8 months old. He is full of energy. He plays fetch, tug of war, and loves to run. He smart and ready to be trained, he knows sit and lay down. He is good with kids, cats, and does good with our other dog. He needs an active home. He is high energy so someone who would want to be active with him is important.

Story
I have this loving charming man named Ricky. He has been staying with us for a few days but we cannot continue to care for him. Shelters are a LAST resort as he’s been rehomed numerous times. He is good around other dogs but cannot live with another cat. He is good around teens but can be quite rambunctious around tiny kids. He knows sit and we are currently trying to crate train him. He will come with all the necessities needed for caring for a dog, we just ask for a 50$(negotiable)rehoming fee that way we know he’s finally found his last landing spot. We do not know what type of breed he is but what we do know is that he is the biggest cuddle bug. I hate having to do this but my own mental health has driven me to this point to where I cannot adequately care for him. I am located in KCMO. Inbox me for any further questions. He is microchipped and fully up to date on all of his shots. He is around 70lbs of pure love.

Story
Neko is a great dog. He is house trained and knows all the tricks! Sit, lay down, shake (both paws), high five, stay, and leave it. He is very treat-motivated. Neko loves to go to the dog park and to doggie day care to play with other dogs. He loves to play chase and tug-of-war with his toys. Neko does not show any aggressive behavior, doesn't nip or growl, and is good with kids. He doesn’t bolt out doors, or chase squirrels or birds. He only plays with his own toys and doesn't get into the hampers or trash cans or cabinets. He will do well with a family with a fenced-in yard where he can run around and get his energies out. While he is a great dog friend at the park, he struggles around other dogs while he's on a leash. He wants to meet every dog and will pull and jump at the opportunity. Given his large size and strength, he has to be walked by a strong teen or adult. He prefers not to spend too much time alone, so would thrive in a family where someone is home most of the time.

Story
Zero is a 66 pound mixed breed who belonged to my father-in-law, who recently passed away. We are unable to keep him ourselves and looking for a new family for him. He is sweet, gentle, potty trained, walks great on a leash, good with other dogs (but we're unsure about cats). He loves going for walks and loves running off-leash at the dog park. He is current on his shots and healthy, but overweight. We started him on a diet and he is slowly losing some of his grandpa weight. He has separation anxiety when left completely alone (if there are other pets he does better). He mostly does fine left home without being kenneled, as long as he can't let himself out. He will need some time to get used to being alone in a new place, but eventually settles in. Our other dog has been diagnosed with IVDD and must be on crate restriction for several weeks. Zero's high-energy needs are making recovery that much harder.

Story
Winnie is a sweet 2 year old girl that I adopted from the shelter. Her prey drives too high to be in a house with cats. I tried to introduce them, her being on a leash, everyday for about two weeks and she persistently stalks and lunges at them. I was told she’d be okay with the cats but she is not. She is a sweet girl despite this and deserves a good home with no cats. Other dogs seem to be fine after being introduced she is just super playful and can play for prolonged periods of time. She will bark at them from afar and through the window but it doesn’t seem to be aggressive just attention seeking and/due to being behind a barrier. I am not sure about kids because she not been around them while under my care. She is not kennel aggressive but she does cry and occasionally bark at times while being in her kennel. Adjectives I would use to describe Winnie would be Playful, sweet, energetic, cuddly and loyal.
